I was just wondering if anyone out there's made a weapon and decided to name it after a weapon from previous DA games, I've done it quite a lot. Here's two of my very own examples;
Unique staff: Hawke's Key (DA:2)
Unique dagger: Sting (DA:O)

I got every piece of the Staff of Parlathan and remade that. That's the only one. But I don't really feel the need to remake weapons. As long as what I craft is lore-friendly and follows an in-universe theme I'm good.
I usually keep the default names of the weapons/armor I create. I plan on coming up with unique names when I get to higher tiers. I miss the days of Baldur's Gate when unique weapons and armor had a history behind it and you could read all about it in the description...

Love those. And more than a few RPGs still do that, don't they?
