Okay, I've got to ask because a couple things in the Approach are driving me nuts.

1) Has anyone managed to claim the landmark at Griffon Wing Keep? I've already claimed the keep itself, but there's an additional landmark that I flat out cannot apparently get to in the northeastern corner of the keep. It looks like there's a bit of wooden scaffolding in about the right place to host it, but I can't figure out how to get there. (Normally I'd jump over the wall, take the falling damage, claim the thing and fast travel back for healing, but that's not an option as the parapet is the traditional RPG Insurmountable Waist-High Fence.)

2) The Giant's Staircase. Every time I go near it, the minimap pulses to tell me to search. It looks like the hidden item is up on the top of the ruined tower - looking from a distance, I can see a ladder connecting the top to the next section down. Problem is, I can't find a way up to that section. There's a part of a collapsed wall that looks like it might be one of those informal "staircases" that frequently require fifteen minutes and a blue streak of swearing to climb up, but I haven't found any spot that lets me jump up even once.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

The second one is a Bottle of Thedas; still a burr in my saddle after skittering all the way up there seeking loot.

#1) The other landmark is actually a well. The captain in charge of the Keep will say something about this. You have to get down to ground level and circle around the Keep, it's nearer to the edge of the map. You'll see a barrier at the tunnel entrance.

#2) The way up is an informal staircase. A broken ridge of rock. It's the side (sandy slope than the remains of the ruin) that's near to that ladder. It can get slippery so take it slow and try to land properly on the broken stones.

Yeah what Obsidian said.  Here's a quick video on how to get down there. (to the Well underneath Griffon Wing Keep)

Nice! This was driving me nuts. I figured the game glitched!
