plus a gray warden.

Now seriously she looks even more skinny than in DAO and she was still so... unatractive. Come on, real women have curves, only dogs go for bones, i'm a wolf and i need some meat

I miss that Lara Croft and classic Tifa (the one with huge hands and feet, the new skinny one makes me want to punch square in the nuts)

Lovely. :/  For the record, 'real' women have a variety of body shapes and sizes.  Denigrating thin women or women with small breasts is no more acceptable than mocking fat women or calling curvy women fat.  What makes someone a woman is in the brain, not the body, and what makes a person valuable is too.

Morrigan's body, and the body of anyone who looks like her, is perfectly fine.

Cassandra: Inquisitor we need to find out who caused the breach!

Inquisitor: Nah **** that Cas, we need to spend all our resources finding out why Morrigan's boobies shortened by half a pixel over the last ten years.

You found the real mystery of the game OP. The Cory stuff was just to distract you, but you didn't take the bait. *unlocks secret achievement*

she is supposed to have mammary glands right? where did they go?

saying she became flat chested would be granting her a cup size, she's just ...painted....

ouch... how did that make it through the character creation department?

They wanted her to wear recognizable attire without being as gratuitous as they were in the first game would be my guess.  You'll notice she's wearing a bra now as well.  But seriously, who wears the same thing for ten years?!

Bioware wants to be a socially responsible developer.  I'm sure you've seen the countless threads about the appropriateness and inappropriateness of using sex in video games.  I'm personally more lenient about it than others who have a stick up their arse! lol

This time around Bioware sided in sympathy with the stick....

What makes someone female-bodied is in the DNA, usually, sure.  There are X chromosomes and Y chromosomes and the combination of these determines at least partly how their body develops.

Gender, however, is another matter all together, a mix of socialised roles and behaviours coded as male or female (not always consistently across cultures or time) and neurology, which is still not all that well understood, as far as I know.

Regardless, Morrigan is a woman both in terms of her sex/body and her gender identity, no matter how big or small her boobs are.  And making women with naturally small breasts feel crappy just because of how they were born and how their body looks is a shitty thing to do.  Making anyone feel lesser because of some random physical features is just...petty and harmful and stupid.

Socially responsible is fine, just as long as they aren't jumping at the whim of any tiny monority.

I think you might be over thinking this somewhat... we are all made to shitty by people sometimes and all you can really do is get on with it.  The good news here is that I am pretty sure Morrigan's not going to be too upset.

What I'd like to know is, where are all the bulges in this game? The males are flat down there. What happened to the p3nis?

I know right. Thank the maker my warden didn't show up so they wouldn't mess my head canon. He's quite well endowed

Wasn't Morrigan always kind of petite? I know the generic underwear made them seem huge, but she didn't seem overly busty in her default outfit.

It's natural for women's breasts to shrink to smaller than pre-pregnancy sizes after the breastfeeding has stopped.

Pff, those aren't men! Come on, real men have real meat down there. If their packages aren't big...no...huge...no, ridiculously oversized, they are not men.

Took a month for this did it?

Bioware didn't want to oversexualize their characters OP. Deal.

I mean if they oversexualize the women, then they really should oversexualize the men, yes?  Equal opportunity here.

Surely Bull's voluptuous pectoral muscles count as oversexualization? Or Dorian's bubble butt?

This is the dumbest post I have ever read. Gender is determined by DNA. If you personally don't want to be that, that's up to you. Female bodied and male bodied can be changed, but gender is biological and in your DNA. Nothing is changing that.

Boobs are near the center of the universe, until you turn twenty-five or so.  Which is also when young men’s auto insurance rates go down.  This is not a coincidence.

Agreed. They need volume. She had a kid, they should at least have volume.

I've had two kids and am the smallest A cup. Argument irrelevant.

Yes but they usually increase when you have a child... although admittedly that was sometime ago.

To be fair I think Bioware can be criticised in the past for giving all women ridiculously large chests (EDI I'm looking at you) but it is a kind of dramatic change.

That's generally to deal with nursing because those things aren't just being decorative anymore. 10-13 years down the road the whole baby thing would be a non-issue and the boobs would have shrunk down again. That is, unless Kieran is still breastfeeding but that would be a completely different issue.

A lot of things can actually influence the size of a woman's breasts, not just childbirth. Nutrition, fitness, genetics (obviously), etc. About a month after I initially started exercising I actually shrunk down enough that I had to buy new bras. Talk about doing a number on my wallet.

Sports bras ftw. I have seen stories of people breast feeding at that age..... *shudders*

I'm not worried about Morrigan.  Even if she weren't, y'know, fictional, I reckon she could handle herself.  But I'm willing to bet that at least one woman has read this thread who shares Morrigan's body type, and is maybe a teeeensy weensy bit sick and tired of hearing how she's a disgusting non-real woman who should hide her abomination of a body away because she hasn't got anti-gravity D-cups.  I made my posts for them, not for Morrigan.

OMG I won!  This is so unexpected...I'd like to thank the Academy, all the good people at Bioware, and the Flying Spaghetti Monster.  I couldn't have done it without you, Noodle!  *bow, curtsey, fall off stage*

(Or, you know, do a bit of reading into gender theory.  I used to think the same way, but it turns out I was wrong.  Neurology is a crazy thing.)
