I'm not worried about Morrigan.  Even if she weren't, y'know, fictional, I reckon she could handle herself.  But I'm willing to bet that at least one woman has read this thread who shares Morrigan's body type, and is maybe a teeeensy weensy bit sick and tired of hearing how she's a disgusting non-real woman who should hide her abomination of a body away because she hasn't got anti-gravity D-cups.  I made my posts for them, not for Morrigan.

That is equally unfair.  Gamers are not universally basement-dwelling male virgins afraid of women.  And it's fine for people to have preferences; it's just not really cool to crap on people whose body types aren't your preference.  The 'real women' thing is so overused and so hurtful, it really just needs to go, no matter what 'type' of woman it's being aimed at.

How convenient that you cut off my post at the point demonstrating that I in fact am capable of showing humour!    Nobody has to use those exact words.  Go back and look at the post I originally quoted, about 'only dogs like bones'.  Do you think slender women like hearing crap like that?  Do you think that they can always just laugh it off, after the tenth time, the hundredth time they've heard something like that?  Do you think maybe it's not a hysterical overreaction, but a normal human reaction, to maybe not want to hear garbage about their body type again, to not want to feel bad about themselves for not measuring up to some stupid ideal?

 

Having a sense of humour and laughing at yourself is great.  It's necessary.  But it's ok to find some things not funny, too.  It's ok to take some things seriously.  It's ok to be hurt, and it's more than ok to care if other people are hurt.  I won't be sorry for that.

What you think in your brain does not change your biology, what your chromosomes say about you. Neurology is crazy. It's those libtard professors trying to push ridiculous concepts. Put a penis and testicles on a woman, take testosterone, whatever, your DNA will all identify you as a woman. If your blood was all that's left in a crime scene and they couldn't identify who's it is, they would be looking for a woman. End of story.

There is no problem.  But it is a definite change from Origins.  Seriously, find a few pics of Morrigan from Origins and you'll realize it's quite the reduction.  Like I said, they may have been feeling the Origins Morrigan was a little too gratuitous given her revealing clothing.

I was just happy to recognize her. BioWare loves to so drastically change NPCs between games that they frequently become unrecognizable. Morrigan and Leliana are among the few that have stayed consistent. I didn't recognize Alistair until the voice registered. He's had two makeovers, now.

As with almost everything, nostalgia for Origins is making people remember things that weren't there. There hasn't really been that much change if you look at it objectively, but yes, they do seem to have shrunk a bit. Her right arm still does look a bit weird though.

 

As for the bra, it does seem possibly against her "meh couldn't give a **** about what you think or societal norms" attitude, but if she's a mother it does make some sense that she'd possibly want to be a bit more 'respectable'.

I'm pretty sure that there's a rule somewhere that states that the use of "libtard" in seriousness basically invalidates all of the other words surrounding it, though poor delivery can have the same effect.
