1. The only thing that worried me about the lower garden was getting enough info to complete the Blackmail quest. I suppose that is not the case, then?

2. I looked everywhere for more eavesdropping and didn't find any more, but I didn't look in the Grand Library. Thanks. Although I swear I looked all over the Ballroom and didn't find anything; no convos, no papers, nothing.

3. I didn't pick all the first choices, I guess that's why the option didn't show up. I also didn't have the tied up Chevalier testify on Gaspard, I figured I had plenty enough evidence on him not to bother, but I apparently didn't. Thank you!

I think you only need the Chevalier if your going for the all three work together ending. The locket reunites Celene and Briala if you talk to them about it and I think most of the evidence against Briala and Gaspard can be found as you go around doing the main part of the quest (the elf and the mercenary captain).

I don't care about all three working together, I just want Briala and Celene to patch things up and Briala to get her nobility status.

That halla door near the coin fountain gives you more coins (if I remember right about the coins. I never opened that door and I got 30/30 scandalous gossips). Most of which are in the open; Grand Library, vestibule (pls check all corridors, the lower area that lead you to the servants' quarters, a pile or two of scandalous papers will pop up there near the couches), there's one in Celine's private quarters. That could be the only one behind a locked door but I can't remember them all. :P

Okay, now I'm pissed. I got the locket and showed it to Celene and Briala, making sure to pick the first options when talking to both, implicating that they both still love each other. I had the tied up Chevalier testify, which again I think is only to have the three work together, but I did it just to be safe. And I STILL didn't have the option for them to reunite show up!!!!!!

Seriously, what the **** am I doing wrong? Should I not have the elf girl testify against Briala? Should I not recruit the Mercenary captain into the Inquisition instead of having him testify or something else? What. Am. I. Doing. Wrong?

At this point I'm almost willing to just say F*ck It and have Celene killed and put Gaspard on the throne. I'm so frustrated.

I also discovered I can't finish the Blackmail quest because I didn't pick up the first scandal in the garden before entering the palace. I currently have 29 secrets. Hahaha. *hangs head* Oh well, I'll just hand these into Leliana and get what XP and influence I can.

You could try getting them together in another PT, if you're going for another. And yes, getting the Chevalier to testify leads to three of them working together. That's my bad, I don't know if that actually affects the reconciliation. Vid sample of the ending you're looking for.

I.......hated.......this place......with........a VENGENCE!

It was like "Oops, you shouldn't of used the statue right away on a door" from a topic I read. I was like "Oh I didn't know". So I wound up doing what TC did which is spend two actual real days worth of running around in circle only to realize on the second floor (the area with the blood trail and the climbable fence) there is another halla statue there sitting on the stupid railing on the oppisite side of that bloody stain. Once I got that stupid thing I finally was able to progress. The stupid statue is so easy to miss so it's like your better off spamming the dumb search button like a moron to see it to the human naked eye.

I still don't even know how to reach the queen. i remember a door that's "can be only picked by a rouge" but I am unsure if this leads to Celene's room. How in the gods green earth do you get to her anyway? I met anyone but her it seemed.

Can someone at least give a start to finish walk through of this place please?

Maybe Quick is up for it. :P  Illydth has written a guide on the use of 11 halla statues and achieve the different endings : Wicked Eyes Wicked Hearts

In my first PT, I didn't know either. I was mucking around everywhere. First PT is always a muddy run anyway, not everything is done right. Second PT, I start to look for more info. I'm not sure if there's a guide to locations of halla statues.

Basically off my head :

outside the palace

on the balustrade (Upper Gardens, to the right of the Grand Library entrance)

support beam near the ceiling of the kitchen (Servants' Quarters), there's also a book opposite the statue

left corner of the garden when you exit the servants' quarters

look for a flight of stairs when you have dropped down to lower garden (after cutscene), climb a ladder to upper floor, statue next to bed

after dialogue with Briala (after she threw a knife in the eye of a running mob), there's a halla statue on a box (I think) along the corridor

on Gaspard's table in his trophy room

in one of the guest rooms (Royal Quarters)

in Florianne's room (Royal Quarters)

in account room (Royal Quarters), you have to jump through a window to access the room. If I'm not mistaken, you jump through a window in the corridor of the Royal Quarters, walk along that passage until you see a room of tables

bottom right of a flight of stairs past the door that leads to Florianne's trap (Royal Quarters)

Argh. Gaspard always reacts a lot angrier in my playthrough. I don't know why he's so different in this one. Maybe I should have his mercenary captain testify instead of recruiting him for the Inquisition, even though I really want to. I'll try again.

But if it doesn't work this time, I WILL kill Celene and put Gaspard on the throne. **** IT.

I have been round this four times, by that I mean up the trellis through the libraries and back to the ballroom.  I have not heard a bell. Morrigan has not appeared.  I have stood outside the ballroom door in the vestibule for ten minutes waiting to hear a bell.

It does not help that the background music includes chimes.  That's really irritating when you're waiting for bells.

Have you picked up the note in Morrigan's study, the one from Celene? The bell won't ring until you do that, so you can explore as much as you want and not be late getting back. When the bell rings, quizzy will mention it. If you wait until the second bell to return, you will gain court approval for being "fashionably late."

Quizzy ? (Inquisitor ?)

It's not so much the bell and timer thing as that the 'familiar person' with the key doesn't show up, which kind of stops one from moving the whole thing on.

Aha, an eye symbol appears on the map and 'radar' where Morrigan 'appears', but Morrigan doesn't appear . . .

Ah, I wasn't going in the small office off the balcony, I was going straight into the library.

Ok, good. You can explore as much as you want in and around the library, but as soon as you pick up the note from Celene to Morrigan, you will need to head back to the ballroom. Once back at the door, click on it as if you are going to go back in. Then the cutscene should start.

Alas, my amphibian advice was inadequate.

Apperately, your catch of flies was spot on.
