Rather than promoting (no pun intended) only one route of progress and though there be tangible benefits to promotion as contrasted with ME3 MP, the ability to change builds midway would be something of benefit to the playerbase but then again I have only been playing for a few days and I am a scrub. Greater flexibility is undeniably a good thing, however.
Something akin to a purchaseable potion of respec or its like would be a good thing in this game...

If I remember correctly, there was no way of doing it in the ME3 MP at first either, so its entirely possible that they'll add the option here too eventually.

Potion of Amnesia? Tonic of Undoing? Eau du Dilettante? Should give a permanent -1 to INT, imo. Stuff like that can fry your brain. Especially if ingested via nose. It won't be long and you'll just feel like Sandal (irreversibly).

Likely.
Maybe there is a bug related to it? It could be the cause why we sometimes lose the ability slots when entering a match.

Nah, thats probably something else. That bug even removes your potions from the hotbar. And said item isn't obtainable in MP currently, I just meant that they'd probably reuse it as well if a respec feature is added for MP. It would even fit with how it worked in ME3's multiplayer, as a consumable item drop.

Needs to cost a hefty, hefty sum of gold. Like 12K bare minimum.

Agreed. There's experimenting with a build and then there's being stuck with a really bad idea build until level 20...
