While I can think of a ton of content I'd like to be added to this game over time, the only one addition that would have me purchasing it from day 1 would be an end game zone. On my second playthrough I tried to get as close to a 100% run as possible on the hardest difficulty. Once a few decent equips and skills were acquired combat became very monotonous; barrier, go in, explode mobs. I remember the days of fighting an archer and then ohshitabear appears and I got wasted. This kind of feeling only existed pre lvl10. I want that back. I want long fights, I want risk of death if the fight goes sour, I want to be able to use specific skills at specific times (e.g. mob uses a move which puts everyone at low hp unless stunned before execution etc).

Seeing as this game followed a much more MMO style gameplay with large open areas and plenty of fetch quests, the least BW could do is keep going and add a high level zone.

More story and something where the inquisitor is able to fail in maybe he/she gets poisoned by someone and captured and has to work her/his way out? (I missed an escape from dungeon/prison lvl.) Anyway I want to be able to fail but not forced to if that makes any sense.

More story, more armors, more companion interaction ( like Citadel DLC ), and ex-companion cameos.

A proper expansion of some sort (by which I mean Shivering Isles/Bloodmoon/etc sort of size). I don't really want a drip-feed of random trinkets and rather morsel-sized quests like DA:O had.

It'd also be nice to have a proper game-modding kit of some sort: leave new equipment and stuff to modders. I'd quite like to do my own tinkering with weapons and armour...

More Solas! Also, more story content in the areas where it currently seems lighter. Maybe a city-based dlc. And yeah, some good-sized stuff rather than little bits and pieces. I want to spend more time in the world, lots more, please let me do this! x

- Solas Hunt, enough said

- More party banters and character moments (there's never too many of those)

- Dragon realited DLC, maybe something like what was in the Empres du Leon, where you needed to clear out 3 dragons in the ruins but with a story/cutscenes.

- Just more dragons in general, those fights were the best part of the gameplay to me. Not saying there isn't enough dragons already in the game but more won't hurt. Finding them was fun and taking them down even more fun. Also, more dragons means more awesome loot.

- Just gimme a possibility to change that awful casual pyjama thingy Inquisitor is wearing in Skyhold. Just... no.

//edit: ALSO background DLC for the Inquisitor? I mean we did get that small text after the character creation but I would really love to see at least a small cutscene about their life before all this. How were Adaar's mercenarie buddies like in off duty? Did Lavellan have a family who missed them while they where gone? What was their social status Cadash family? Did Trevenlyan have friends back in home? I really wish to get more depth in my Inquisitor.

-A Wolf Hunt DLC. My Inquisitor have to slap/kiss a bald elf mage of her knowledge.

Less important, but extremely significant for me:

-Hair DLC: really, I need some decent hairstyles for my Inquisitors. Long, short, or braided. More variety, thanks. We have enought bald/shaved styles. Too many. Exepecially for the Qunari. If is with a mirror of transformation would be great.

-Change the clothes (or at least let use use our crafter armour) in Skyhold: or at least give the thing the Inquistor is wearing some texture. Is too bland.

-More armours and projects, expecially for non humans Inquistors. i'm having problems with the lack of things I can give to my mage Qunari.

I'm mostly interested in story DLC, because I feel that things such as racial armours and costumes should be added in patches, but I won't dream about it.

A DLC to deal with the HoF/Warden-Commander quest in the West, so this part of the story would be closed.

Followed by a Weisshaupt DLC which would seed some content for the next game.

Then four "Origin" DLC, where the Inquisitor has to deal with his origin (so, Ostwick, the Valo-Kas, the Dalish Clan and the Dwarf Family) -which happens after the endgame ; each Inquisitor would be able to do all the dlc, but obviously, special content would appear when you play your "Origin" (they could be used to give us racial armours, weapons and decorations, so we would get some story with it).

Then, maybe some political DLC in Ferelden, since we haven't really dealt with how the King/Queen and the banns react to the presence of the Inquisition. Plus, Ferelden political struggle need to be fleshed out a little if we are to leave the South for good in the next game. And then a Chantry DLC, where the Inquisitor deal with his/her choice for the new Divine.

Hoppefully, those DLC would all be giving hints and reasons for the Wolf Hunt DLC (because, despite how important the revelation at the end of the game are huge, I still can't see good reason to buy such a DLC, just like I didn't bought Witch Hunt, since I don't make a lot of parties and my first in DA: I was with a male Qunari who romanced Cassandra).

  1. Better final battle (ie more challenging then push button repeatedly until the big baddy dies)
  2. Party clothes!
  3. One more romance scene with Solas. I mean, that romance gets cheated compared to the others.  (adding a kiss anytime you want would make it equal to others, IMHO.  Well, until *Spoiler* of course)
  4. A varterral battle (where were they at all the Elvhenan ruins anyway?)
  5. A falcon of our very own.  Or a crow.  Whatever.
  6. A trip to the fade to try to rescue Alistair/Loghain/Stroud/Hawke.  Maybe with Fiona if you sided with the mages.  Perhaps we can even be successful.  Perhaps not.
  7. A voice for Bog Unicorn  (joking)
  8. A STORAGE CHEST!

A real Dungeon Crawl. I don't care if it is deeproads or whatever, but I just don't get enough Dungeon. Same complaint I had in DA2.

Gimme epic Dungeon.

I would like to have armor and other small improvements (such as the mirror of transformation, hair styles, etc) included with standard patches, not as a five dollars DLCs. I wouldn't pay for them if that were the case, it might be a nice way of making money from a developer's POV, but for players it is an insult.

As for true DLC, an expansion such as Awakening would be nice, but instead of making it as a standalone add on, make it so that you can play it during the base game (or after the ending). I'm talking about a big expansion, adding 3 or 4 big areas, at least one important city (bigger than Val Royeaux, of course) and a healthy number of quests. Maybe one extra party member (although I think that the party is perfect as it is), and some kind of epic battle against a really powerful dragon, requiring players to have an extremely well prepared party, and rewarding it with epic loot (the Highlands Ravager can be beaten easily once you have reached level 23 or 24). I'm talking about some kind of dragon hunt, in which the fight takes place in different areas of the world map (after removing X% of HP, the dragon would fly off and you would have to search for it on a different zone, but at the same time you would be able to heal your party)

Deep Roads to find Sandal and, learn his whole story.

Fade w/ Solas to learn the true elven history.

Tevinter w/Dorian just for a holiday and education.

Seheron w/Iron Bull to find Fenris when Varric looses contact with him.

Kokari Wilds w/Morrigan to find Flemeth's orb.

Antiva w/ Jossie and Lielianna to find Zevran and, buy exceptional items in the market.

Wieshapt to rescue/find either Hawke or the warden you spared in the fade.

A fun, play pack where you get to ride the dragon you tamed and jsut explore for the heck of it.

An interact social pack where you get to finish fixing Skyhold and have balls, banquets, parties and craft clothes for you and your team/advisers.

A Black Emporium-type DLC with rare schematics and crafting tools, vitar recipes, and schematics in the manner of the advisers.  Mail of the Nightingale/Cowl of the Nightingale for rogues, Armor of the General/Helm of the General (why doesn't he wear the lion helm in-game?) for warriors, and Ruffles of the Ambassador/Ruffled Bow for mages, upgradable and not locked to the PC or certain races.

A story DLC bringing some of Corypheus' more interesting traits to the foreground would also be fun.

Wardens please.

After reading Last Flight I just can't wait to go to Weisshaupt.

I'm pretty sure any sizable dlc or expansion will be Grey Warden centered. The game as well as the books totally set it up.

As for small dlc a black emporium equivalent with a mirror of transformation and loads of schematics and new armor and clothing and styling options would be great. Can I show some cleavage pls? Can I do my hair? Thanks.

Smth about Solas, maybe even playing as Solas

Want a story when somebody kidnapped Inquisitor.

And I read that fanfic recently. Its about what if Inquisitor and Dorian didn't manage to come back in time and stuck in this awful future. I would love to play a little in such a dark world finding a way of coming back (I know we got a "prison escape", but it wasn't enough)

Something with Kal-Sharok, the Deep Roads, and the Architect. An expansion around this would allow us to find out what the Warden's doing too.

Weisshaupt/Fade Rescue Mission/The Re-Hawkening.

Hawke's LI has been having dreams in the fade and knows Hawke is alive, you team up with them to go rescue Hawke. If Hawke was spared, them and their LI are at Weisshaupt, Hawke's been having dreams in the fade and knows the Warden who was sacrificed in alive. Team up and into the Fade. If Hawke has no LI and was left behind, the Warden who was spared has the dreams etc. Only way I can think that would work for all options. The person who was left behind in the Fade is being tormented by the Nightmare, they're a consistent source of fear for it.

Then we deal with whatever's going on at Weisshaupt. This is my dream DLC.
