Those demons are level 12 and it's so difficult.. I think I've been trying for more than 30 times now T_T please help me.

I'm currently only level 7, I'm a 2 handed warrior. Is there any elaborate strategies that I can use or should I go level up my character?

If so, what is the fastest way to level up?

Not all the rifts are meant to be done right away. Their difficulty levels varies. Level up some more and then go back if it feels too hard.

What's a good way to level up? I'm really torn.. I've leveled up like twice in 3 hours I think I might be doing something wrong?

The best idea is to avoid anything significantly higher level than yourself.  I would suggest waiting till your are at least level 9 and make sure you have a full compliment of potions before starting such an encounter.  Better yet, make sure you have newly crafted gear at least tier 2 stuff.  Those things will help a bit.  Engaging enemies five levels high than yourself is practically a lost cause, just come back later when you are better able to deal with them.

And do not worry about leveling.  You will level as you play and explore all of the areas available.  The only time you will not level is where you are three levels higher than the creatures you are fighting.  And even then you will not level only if you are fighting things without completing quests.

It CAN be done at level 7, 6 even but you need Solas, Blackwall or Iron Bull and, Cassandra and all of you need to have full healing pots and full regen pots. Trigger the rift, make everyone take a regen pot, send warriors after the terrors, set solas on smaller wraiths, go after the despair demon yourself. Pause to re-up regen pots at 50% health, then let them eat health pots as needed after that. Also set all behaviors to 0% mana/stamina reserve and, be sure all abilities are enabled with Solas preferred on barrier so he keeps it up as much as possible and, one of the warriors set to defend you, while the rest follow you.

You won't just blaze it at that level, you have to work it, pause, pot, adjust attacks, hit a bit, rinse, repeat. it's a hard fight below level 9.

As for leveling, do side quests, search for codex entries, do any other rifts except that one and the one in the cave - it's nasty too.

By the way, if you get that rift closed at level 6 or 7, at level 10, go for the dragon - it's a 15 but, if you can take that rift, you can manage the dragon in Hinterlands or Crestwood at level 10. :)

I generally don't do the ravine rift until after I get to Skyhold - it is much less hassle when you are level 10 or 11.
