On my second playthrough.  Wicked Grace cut scene worked great in my first playthrough, now it tries to load and then just goes back to the main hall in Skyhold.  I'm going to load a previous save to try to fix this but I may have to redo Solas' Exhalted Plains quest as I forgot to save until I got back to Skyhold on that one.  Does anyone else have any idea what triggers this bug?

Reboot the game/your system and try to load the auto save, I've had that happen before and restarting the game fixes it.

tried that and it was still bugged.  I have one save from right when I got to Skyhold that I will try, before I talked to everyone.  If not then I'll reload my Crestwood save (good thing I always have a ton of saves).

Since you've played through once already, I doubt this is the case, but this is the later game scene that's not loading rather than earlier in the game when you first get his approval high enough and he asks you to play Wicked Grace with him, correct?

 

I never got a cutscene for when he first asked to play a game and assumed there wasn't one. (I did for the second instance, and it was great.) I'm just asking because I know I've personally gotten confused by the order of things when replaying other games.

OH, I had forgotten he asks you to play Wicked Grace once before the cut scene- my first playthrough was 170+ hours so I have forgotten a few things.  LOL, 3 hours of replay for nothing (except for fun party banter)  Oh well.  Thank you for the reply.

It is weird that he asks you to play and then the conversation ends, though. It would have been nice to just have a 5 second scene of the two of you sitting down and him dealing out cards.
