Is it just be or do the rocks Giants throw have the ability to track their target and cannot be avoided by running out of the way or running behind the Giant as they're about to throw it. On one occasion the the rock hit the floor and BOUNCED towards it's intended target when it "missed".

you can evade them with abilities such as combat roll, evade, fade step and leaping shot. They do have particularly good aim though, it's extremely hard to juke them with just normal movement, though my friend swears he has a system.

I'm convinced that it's impossible to juke them with normal movement. I've even tried running past the Giants and the things still manage to find me with the eyes in the back of their heads. Screw those guys.

Does not even compare to the DAMN poisonous spider venom that can pass through rocks/terrain and curve like a R. A. Dickey knuckle ball.

The spider vemon does not instantly kill one of your party members without a shield

Yeah, even using stealth doesn't work....

Yeah, even using stealth doesn't work....

Unfortunately, stealth also fails against Archers. If they're aiming a shot at you (A regular one or a Full Draw) they'll shoot at you, whether you're stealthed or not.

Try using evade, or even Flank Attack; anything that moves you forward quickly.

To be fair, that issue works both ways. Just realised in my last gaming session that you can 'ignore' stealth too, by spotting the stealthed haze and smacking it :)

Fade Step; not so much. Apparently those Giants have had time to learn to lead their target....

WHEN the boulder is in the air, is the time you should combat roll / frost step / leaping shot out of the way. if you do so prior and he will lead his shot and squish you.

They need it though mang! Giants are pretty much taunt and tank losers otherwise. Taunt, shield wall, easily win. Without that one shot KO they're no better than bandits.

Well shield wall creates a loop in space time and makes those rock never happened.

Yer I found that if I use stealth while an archer or the giant begin to attack they will still follow me and attack while in stealth. Shouldn't be like that

It's called staying at his feet as he starts the throw jump away then come back and repeat.

The worst thing about the fighting Giants in the Emerald Graves, are those Bronto herds that are just waiting to be attacked so they can grind you mages and rogues into dust (I swear those Bronto actually dare you to hit them during a fight, they keep moving into my characters face)

On the upside the Giants are sometimes prone to randomly jumping to such heights it can actually kill them if there is a hill or some other sort of elavated terrian that's between then and their targets, while doing a jump attack (that also has a stupid range and can also track it's target)
