It's almost a crime that the Architect was not featured in DAI. It would have made perfect sense for us to approach him to discover a way to kill Corypheus and they have reason that is in perfect compliance with the lore on how he survived if the Warden refused his deal..

"Inquisitor: Lady Morrigan, you said that you knew of a way to destroy Corypheus permanently?

Morrigan: Indeed. The Hero of Ferelden, my love, once told me a tale of how he encountered an highly intelligent Darkspawn who could speak, wielded terrible magic, whose face was eerily human and towered above all other Darkspawn with the exception of Ogres.

I believe this "Architect", for that was what the creature called itself, is the same manner of being as Corypheus, another of the seven Magisters who entered the Black City. If found, it might be able to tell us a way to kill Corypheus."

I bet Bioware thought about it once but opt out because of potential complaints :P

I'm fully expecting to meet the Architect in future DLC.

Indeed. There's enough people screaming that "Bioware doesn't respect our choices".

Presumably if the Architect was in, you would only be able to talk to him if you left him alive. Would be nice for there to be a benefit to some of the "evil" choices of previous games like helping "Sophie Dryden" and the Architect.

Well, not exactly, as I understood, Corypheus ability to revive trough tainted beings was something natural, but he screwed up by investing his power on the false archdemon, The Architect however, is not so proud as him, he is more like the kind of dudes with a cause that somehow ever have bad luck, so if the Architect never invested his power on something that could bind him, I have to assume that he could survive using any darkspawn or Grey Warden nearby.

Well obviously they didn't respect my choice and hardwork with allying with mother Petrice. It doesn't make any sense she's not in DAI or have any mention or influence there. Meh.
