add a schematic, problem solved
So, Bioware, where is the patch that gives us our armor in Skyhold?

I totally agree. I'm very well aware that this is not the game's biggest problem. But it is one that bothers me very much. The look of Skyhold outfit just makes it impossible to relate to my character and immerse in the scenes that happen at Skyhold. I cannot find any role-playing reason why my inquisitior would choose to wear an outfit like that outside of her private chambers. It's not a proper outfit for a leader.
Personally I also find the whole design and colouring bland and underwhelming. But I'm sure I could live with an outfit that didn't please my aesthetic eye - if it suited the game somehow. Now the outfit it both unattractive and silly.

In DA2 your home is your castle.@AlanC9:
It is a non-issue in DA2 since Hawke is in her own quarters. Meanwhile, the Skyhold outfit would be appropriate in the Inquisitor's private quarters, but nowhere else in Skyhold.
In DAI your castle is your home.
(and in soviet Russia...)
edit: slightly more seriously though, I think they were shooting for something like this:

it's not "private quarters" outfit. Just a formal fashion people aren't too used to (anymore)

I disagree. I think a modest and functional outfit is far better than anything. It's the most audacious display of power.
I'm not asking for anything outrageously elaborate, but I don't want my Inquisitor to look drab. A different color would undoubtedly improve things considerably, but would it be enough, even for a "simple but elegant" look? I doubt it.

I hate that outfit with a passion.
Right now, I find it one of the most irritating issues with the game, up there with the inability to toggle walk on PC. Silly? Certainly. But I haven't experienced any serious bugs, and little things have a way of getting under my skin, especially when they hinder roleplaying. From what other players have said, I agree Bioware has more urgent stuff to fix, but it would be nice to know they will get around these relatively simple problems eventually.
The worst part is that I actually think my character's armor would look perfectly fine in Skyhold, just as it did in Haven.

Oh ffs. The people are on a well deserved break. It's the holiday season. Of course they get time to spend it with their families after spending the past few months practically living at the office.
More patches will start to roll out in January. And those will cover more important things first.
Sheesh.

Me too the coat could be a bit longer like the ones they wear in GoT but I like it anyway.

Where's the patch that eliminates the stuttering in the cutscenes?
Right click on the DA:I icon and go to properties. Next put in -GameTime.MaxSimFps 34 after the .exe" and you shouldn't see stuttering during cutscenes anymore. If you still see stuttering then you can manually adjust the # from 30-60. I found anything over 34 with my graphics card would make the cutscenes too fast.

But at least being blind you don't have to deal with my terrible taste, whereas I have to see the fashion abortions you chose to wear. How is that fair?

The outfit is fine. The only problem I see is the lack of choice. In ME you can choose between different outfits. That wouldn't please anyone, though. After all, haters gonna hate.

...because this is really the game's most visible flaw that affects everyone.
No, it's not.
There are many things that need priority over this, especially technical issues.
