I think she misrepresented her skill at cards, which isn't really cheating.

I got the impression that she hustled everyone, but not necessarily cheated - she just played into people's expectations that she was a naive, silly girl who wouldn't know how to play.  But she played The Game in Orlais for awhile, so of course she's good at cards (and bluffing).

I am quite sure Cullen let me win at chess to get into my ugly pyjama pants though (spoiler alert: it totes worked.)

I think the developer would get tons of complain if she's the one get naked...

She absolutely hustled him and it's *so hilarious*. I love it.

She pulled a Shepard and hustled everyone.

She'd clearly proven to everyone she was an ace player in the last couple hands, so Cullen playing her again and losing his clothes was his own fault.

Wait. Does the outcome of the game change when your romancing someone there? My Li was under the table, drunk....

Did you have several people drunk under the table?

Sera obviously.

I did this scene twice, once as Josephine's lover and once not. When I was romancing her I won and in the other case she won. I suspect she let me win, which is what I think the OP meant.

Sera

I think Sera is always under the table. She was for me and I was romancing Cass.

It was an orgy of booze and vomit under that table.  :P

I've seen it posted that the Inquisitor can win if Josephine is the LI, but can't win the card game otherwise.

I'm not sure if that's true or not, but I have read it on the forums. If true, she lets the Inquisitor win.

Was it Sera? I think she always ends up under the table, drunk. But yeah, if you're with Josie, she'll cheat on your behalf. And I'm totally convinced she's a card mechanic. :)

Now I can't stop imagining drunk Cassandra under the table.

I can't believe people fell for the "I've never played this game before!" routine Josy ran. It's only the oldest trick in the book. :P

I thought this was going to be a thread about Josie doubletiming you with Blackwall. Disappointed.

Paragon Shepard does that in ME2, love the engineers response after we take their money.

Thank you, Cullen, for your temporary and perfectly timed bout of utter foolishness.

I prefer when she wins, just for the "Never bet against an Antivan" line.

Wait Josie let's you win?

It depends on the choices made by the Inquisitor as well. During the first hand you have to raise and during the last you have to go all in.

I was alarmed when Cullen lost even if playing fairly. He's supposed to be GOOD at strategy. My jaw dropped and I said aloud, "This guy shouldn't be the commander!"

But yeah, I think he let her win now.

In one of the earliest War Table missions Varric says she plays a mean hand of Wicked Grace. I thought this was a given.
