Just hit the Mage's Tower in my most recent playthrough , and am only now dreading the fade. It, like Irenicus' dungeon, is tedious and only actual fun the first time you run through it. Pretty sure I have it as a science and it shouldn't be an issue, but UGH.

Anyway, to the main point, much connected to the topic. With Irenicus' Dungeon, we saw the rising of Dungeon-Be-Gone, where your party was spirited through the dungeon with ample XP, items, and Gold, comporable to if you had gone through yourself, lead by Jasper St. Bair.

With the current tools available, is a mod such as this even possible? The Sloth demon puts you to sleep, and you meet up with a similar situation, able to be spirited through the fade? Have the single player files been released to the modding community, on a slightly related note?

But I digress. Thanks in advance to any, and all answers.

I really hope someone comes up with something soon for this. I'm on my first playthrough of this game and, having enjoyed the rest of it immensely, I suddenly find myself stuck in this tedious puzzler of a level, hopping backwards and forwards all over the confusing and badly-laid out map, getting burnt to a crisp and being forced to play as some sort of mage (which I hate doing). It's really spoiling the game for me at the moment.

This walkthrough helped immensely with my Fade annoyance:

Thanks. That should help.

Sigh. I wish there was Temple Be Gone for the Sacred Ashes quest. I'm going to have to use cheats to go through it more quickly.

How about Deep-Roads-B-Gone? Most tedious part of the game with the exception of The Anvil section.

At least the Fade is a little fun and it's less complicated after you've done it once... you can turn into a golem and hurl huge stones. C'mon, that's pretty cool!

Now if your abilities you learned in the fade had any practical application afterward, I would be all over it. Who wouldn't want to be able to shapeshift into burning dude or ghost guy outside the fade?

I'm working on a Fade-B-Gone...shouldn't be too difficult to not trigger the Fade and not kill the Sloth demon, but have an option to resist him insted and fight him then and there.

I just need to nkow how muhc XP one cna get in the Fade.

By the sound of this thread, people seem to be demanding a DA-Be-Gone. Create a character and then move straight to the ending credits, skipping all parts of the game. >_>

Heh, no, you need to leave the romance dialogs in there.

Edit: And then create another mod so you get the ending you want!

Naturally.  And the enhanced sex scenes too.  Who needs that messy darkspawn business anyway?

Meh, I'm holding back. Decided to play nice at least online.

Though I'm really proud of the newest line I used to ask a lady out.
"I really need your help. I couldn't be bothered to shave these past couple of weeks, so I need you to go out with me, since I'd never let such a beautiful woman see me anything but cleanly shaven."

The scary thing is, she said yes

I loved the Fade. It was the best part of the game for me.

Now the deep roads...

Heh, I was just thinking the same thing. The Fade, Deep Roads, Sacred Urn.... That's half the game. And some of my favorite parts, too. Actually, I like all the parts, so 'favorite' isn't exactly right.... In any case, I don't enjoy them any less in subsequent playthroughs.

Heh, women appreciate creative effort. Now that you've come on like 'Castle', you're going to have to be Nathan Fillion amusing for the whole date, though. ;)

What's not to like about the Fade? It can be a little more difficult with some classes than others, but it's certainly doable. And who doesn't want 21 bonus points? Once you've figured out where they all are, lol.

I've written a guide myself, if you still haven't found them all: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/66/index/517400

But I'm sure the one someone else linked is at least as good, and probably better, lol. :D

The problem with the Fade, for me, as opposed the the Roads is that you keep going back, and then back, and then back as you get each form. It gets annoying and toss in that the swapping forms is so slow that I can't stand it. It was interesting and cool the first time out but ever since then it is a chore to be done.

Say, this is a good place to ask... There's always one (maybe two) that won't give me the bonus when I click in them. Is that class related?

No. You have to be in spirit form while clicking those.

I've always gotten all of them. Some do require you to be in Spirit form though.

I hate the Fade and usually run through it with my stereo blasting and some form of caffeine in my hand. I also turn the difficulty down to easy just to get the place frakking over with. Just wanted to pipe in that if someone makes a mod that lets you skip the fade, make sure you give the stat bonuses that we would get in there.

There's one where either 2 or 3 mages are fighting-I can't remember which, and It doesn't say what it is or let me collect anything from it.
