There's one where either 2 or 3 mages are fighting-I can't remember which, and It doesn't say what it is or let me collect anything from it.

You just need to take on Spirit Form. Several of the bonuses require that.

I would enjoy a Fade be gone also but I think you should probably at least try playing it with every character to see each of their nightmares at least once. I wonder if you could use the command console and visit a nightmare with loghain in it... hmm.

Hehe. More likely though that there is a forgotten Jowan nightmare from before he got cut.

Ah, I must have been in spirit form for fighting reasons when I encountered the others and didn't realize... more bonuses next time! :)

Note that not all the bonuses require Spirit Form - only some. The Willpower one at Weisshaupt, the Magic bonus where those two mages are, several others.

The guide I linked further up the thread tells you which ones they are. And gives a route through the Fade that allows you to get them all. And that gives you the Forms fairly quickly, and tackles the bosses in a manageable order - or so I think, lol. Ymmv.

Willpower and Magic need spirit form.

Dexterity, Cunning, Strength and Constitution can be collected in any form.

I think

Not all cunning need spirit form, but I think ALL will does.

I really liked the fade. I've played it as both warrior and mage (I have yet to get there with my rogue). May I suggest changing the order of the nodes you are doing? Do the templar's nightmare last, would be my suggestion.

Ok I know this would be considered cheating but I still got to say it: if you click on some of those just right (double or even triple click) you can get more than 1 point for those statues lol

Edit NM lol

Personally, I don't mind the fade but for two things.

I hate going solo

I can't get rid of the blur, and it makes my eyes hurt. The mod won't work, and I don't see any way to do it through the 'options' button.

Thanks, Susan. I'm always missing two of them, I'll give your guide a look-over to see which one I miss on a regular basis.

I'm at the point where I don't care about all those lovely stats buffs. I just want it over with, and fast. I hate playing mages in these kind of games anyway, and this area just leaves me cold. I've no idea how I've managed to complete the Raw Fade, Burning Tower or Darkspawn Invasion bits, they're showing as completed (with those icon things over them in the map) but it was just pure luck on my part, no plan or anything else.

Just about to start grinding my way through Mages Unbound or whatever it's called... sigh...

By the sound of this thread, people seem to be demanding a DA-Be-Gone. Create a character and then move straight to the ending credits, skipping all parts of the game. >_>

Heh, I was just thinking the same thing. The Fade, Deep Roads, Sacred Urn.... That's half the game. And some of my favorite parts, too. Actually, I like all the parts, so 'favorite' isn't exactly right.... In any case, I don't enjoy them any less in subsequent playthroughs.

I think it's that we enjoy different parts of the game. Areas with lots of battle that has to be done before the story progresses is tedious to me. I don't enjoy battle that much, I need lots of dialogue in between the fights to be happy.

Well apart for the fact that the Fade can get rather tedious after the second or third time what really bothered me about it was that damned Sloth Deamon.

It stinks of rail-roading and bad rail-roading at that, you can kick a desire deamons bum in the fade, kill a dragon and pull off a whole bunch of super-special-awesome stuff, but some piddly middle of the road deamon mind-humps you with two seconds of dialogue and no option to resist it no matter how high your stats or what you accomplished.

Well, that's a good point, but it can be explained. Not too much is known about demons, no thanks to the Chantry, so it is entirely possible to have an extremly powerful greater Sloth. The only thing that truly bothers me in the fade is how the potions (that you have in your very real bag that lies next to your sleeping body) actually disappear when you use them inside a dream. I can't imagine any explanaition for that...

But aside from that, I like the fade.

Yeah, that annoyed me too
