Been trying to do the Empress Celene quest, and I am severely stuck. I am chasing that harlequin assassin, and I get to the room with the quest marker. The fellow isn't there. And the way back is barred, as well. Is this yet another game breaking bug?
Am I missing something?

It's on the upper floor. If I remember correctly. The stairs are in one of the rooms the grand apartments.

I know. I went there. Nothing happens. My Orlesian Court approval has gone right down the drain now too. Reloaded 3 times. Nothing.

The room should have a few boxes, a halla key next to a statue. And next to that is a open door onto a balcony.

If nothing else helps, look for a youtube walkthrough to see if you are at the right place. It can be very easy to get lost in those maps and the quest markers can be confusing across different floors.

I am on the balcony. Found the hala thingy too. Nothing happens. Is there supposed to be a cutscene or somehting?

Yes, after you kill all the enemies. There should be a cut scene.

Killed all of them. Outside and inside. Nothing happens. Done i 4 times now. Marvelous quest design by Bioware.

Happened to me, im guessing when you first meet briala cutscene? if so what happened to me (on ps4) one of the enemies glitched out couldnt get him at all, even went out of combat as if nothing was amiss, had to restart the damn thing, most annoying

When this happened to me, it was because I had Dorian with me and his spirit mark made one of the enemy immortal. I had to turn on friendly fire and slowly take the guy out. My court approval dropped to 37. I was not amused.

Disable ALL necromancer skills except Horror for that quest, or don't take Dorian. It tends to bug out otherwise.
