It says to make a rune, but I still don't have any rune tablets. Where do I find them?

To craft runes in DAI you need three things:

• a rune schematic - received by exploring veilfires,
• a blank runestone - most merchants (such as Bonny Sims in Skyhold) sell these, and
• rune specific ingredients - received by killing various enemies.

Ok Bonny Sims, thank you. You would think the game would say something about that person as they are critical to completing the quest.

It's a crafting material, pretty obvious to check vendors for it if you haven't collected it by the time you get Dagna.

Vendors get other crafting materials at this point?! That's helpful, but why would it be obvious when I haven't met a vendor before this that had crafting materials? I was expecting to have to farm for the runes themselves somewhere before you gave the first vendor option..
