If you have to be named after a flower Heather is the one. When I was young my brother would drive us to Banff and the hills were brilliant with it. Then you would hit a patch where it was on flame, it can spontaneously combust. It is how it re-seeds. I've only seen some heather here and there. Never seen hills of it, must have been really pretty there. But I would enjoy flowers more if I didn't have such horrible allergies during the spring and summer.
Heather flowers sound like phoenixes tbh.
