That is unfortunate. As it's just beautiful poetry over a dope beat. Each is own though, though I would highly recommend certain artist that don't fit the "mainstream" image of rap, but that probably wouldn't change your mind anyway, lol.

I'm not gonna argue this because like I said, I enjoy it. But you really cant deny that most rap lyrics ARE in fact, sexist. I don't care though, because its just music.

Most, nah, but it can be, I won't deny that, but a lot of the really meaningful and lyrically sound artists avoid that type of "general" use of lyrics for those themes. But again, not the point of the thread anyway, so I'll squash it here.

I'm more into rock as well but I still laugh at those lyrics when I hear rap music, some of them are so damn hilarious and I really don't feel offended by them, I just think of them as music.

I like Eminem for this reason. I never can tell if he's a satyrist of the genre or straight up insane though.

I like Tech N9ne, and some of the older groups like Cypress Hill. There are also some satire rap groups I get a kick out of like Notorious MSG.
Other than that I'm not big on rap. Rock and metal all the way.
