I just like how of all the gods really only the Spartans had a admiration for him. But they also depicted him in chains. Which I find interesting that they would chain a god.

I always assumed it was to keep him "locked" to one side so to speak. Hopefully he being chained would limit his influence or power or whatever. So the Spartans would have Ares on their side.
