But those are really freakin cool and that Anubis looks baws tbh. I want my future house to have all kind of things like that in it tbh.

 

I have this Egyptology book and it's a real treat. Tells you about the legends of Ancient Egypt like the tomb of Osiris. Also has a way to teach you Egyptian hieroglyphs and also has the pieces and directions to play Senet.

 

I'm a huge history buff so I often buy and collect such books and things.

 

 

That does sound really rough; I remember one of my religion professors describing a sleep paralysis experience he had and thinking that it was pretty freaky, and it kinda sounds like you're going through that every night. Unfortunately, I don't have any constructive advice to offer at all, but I do hope that you start feeling a lot better soon.

 

Also, I just realized that in over 3 years of being on the BSN, I've accumulated a comparatively small number of posts (around 1800 at this point). Like a lot of other folks, I started showing up around the time of the ME3 fiasco, but I've never been the most consistent poster. All of the folks I knew pretty well during those days have since left, but a couple of us started our own thing at awtr.ca (it sprang off from the old "All Were Thematically Revolting" thread); it's pretty slow going nowadays after 3+ years, but it's still kicking anyways. Even the friends I've made here since then are mostly AWOL, so things do seem pretty quiet nowadays.

 

 

Thanks, I hope so too. I just got back from "sleeping" for 3 hours but I downed a bunch of water and my head feels slightly less dizzy. It literally feels like my brain has turned to mush and it's seeping out through my ears and eyes. That's the best I can describe it anyway. And sleep paralysis is some trippy shite but can also be terrifying stuff. Like being held down by an invisible force ugh.

 

I was wondering why you had such little posts given your sign up date (I don't stalk, I observe), but I was the same when a lot of my friends left in 2012 and over half of them disappeared after the forum changes. I was gone for about 6 months and the only reason I came back is cause Crusty linked me to a thread that I had to respond on. This is his fault. That filthy casual.

I actually wasn't planning to stay but I actually made some new friends on here for the first time in 2 years. So that's the only reason I'm sticking around atm.

It is really quiet these days though, I remember how it use to be so damn active. I think it's a combination of BioWare falling more and more from grace and a domino effect of our friends leaving.

 

The thing I don't like is when people disappear without any warning, if I have them on Steam then I don't mind so much though. Every time I poof I always make an SU saying so. That way I don't have people PMing me and commenting on my profile in vain.
