So, since this is basically the OT of OT, and since we've had people leave BSN. What was your reason for joining BSN?
I joined cause I was google-ing DA:I news and wanted to talk about DA with people who gave just the littlest bit of a shite. Since my friends were going to kill me because of how much I was talking about DA. All in all I've posted about 23 times in the DA:I forums since I've been here. Most of it has been in OT lol. And because the DA:I forums became a scary weird place.
my reason for joining was the closing of the old Bioware ForumSo, since this is basically the OT of OT, and since we've had people leave BSN. What was your reason for joining BSN?

Thanks, I hope so too. I just got back from "sleeping" for 3 hours but I downed a bunch of water and my head feels slightly less dizzy. It literally feels like my brain has turned to mush and it's seeping out through my ears and eyes. That's the best I can describe it anyway. And sleep paralysis is some trippy shite but can also be terrifying stuff. Like being held down by an invisible force ugh.
I was wondering why you had such little posts given your sign up date (I don't stalk, I observe), but I was the same when a lot of my friends left in 2012 and over half of them disappeared after the forum changes. I was gone for about 6 months and the only reason I came back is cause Crusty linked me to a thread that I had to respond on. This is his fault. That filthy casual.
I actually wasn't planning to stay but I actually made some new friends on here for the first time in 2 years. So that's the only reason I'm sticking around atm.
It is really quiet these days though, I remember how it use to be so damn active. I think it's a combination of BioWare falling more and more from grace and a domino effect of our friends leaving.
Ugh, that sounds terrible. Can't really recommend anything except painkillers, lotsa fluids, and good fortune. Oh, and might as well blame Crusty for the pain in your head, too. ![]()
In the past, I've rarely done casual posting (except on the Actor/Actress game thread); instead, I would generally make a smaller number of long and boring posts. So I would go a week with nothing and then upchuck a 5,000 word discourse on ludonarrative dissonance or some such nonsense; of course nobody would read it, and I'd go back into my shell. But with discussions slowing down around the boards, you can't really get by with just that anymore, so I've been posting some more random stuff of late.

I think I joined in 2010 or so just to register my copy of ME2, but I never posted anything until the ME3 ending controversy blew up around March 2012. I think talking about that game was way more enjoyable than actually playing it; I learned a heck of a lot from those conversations. Most of the posters I knew from those days have since left, but there are still some pretty cool folks here, so I stick around and post when I feel like I've got something to say.

I joined back in 2011 because I wanted to write my review of DA2. I mostly lurked though or posted occasionally in the Kaidanites thread. I didn't start to become more social and post more until the ME3MP forums appeared. In the original BtM picture thread is where I met many people I still talk with to this day and my boyfriend

I actually had an account around the time ME1 released, just for certain info. But I didn't get into the community at all.
Years later, Right after ME3, I decided to get into the community but I didn't remember my old log in since I switched from yahoo to gmail.
So I didn't officially join in with the community until early 2012. My life kinda flipped upside down then, lost a lot, including work. So I was stuck in an apt with my older brother as my roomie, no money, most of my friends either moved away or stopped talking to me and my family had their own things to deal with. Sean, my brother, worked a lot and was only home to sleep, otherwise he was out at a bar picking up girls no doubt (at least they always when to the girl's palce tbh). So I turned to getting into some internet forum.
I chose BioWare because I had just finished ME3 and wanted people's opinions about it.
Started getting to know some of the users and making friends so I stuck around. Majority of them left BSN ages ago but I still have them on Steam and one is even on the TellTale forums. He's been posting here and there because I convinced him but he seems to have disappeared again.
Right now, I only stick around for a few people (they know who they are). But when my life picks up again, I'll be gone for 4-6 months then might pop in and say hi but I won't stick around if I'm working and such. Except when I worked graves, was almost always on BSN during my shift when I had nothing to do (which was at least 6 hours within an 8 hour shift) and then when I got off work I'd be on BSN because by then I started gaming with them. Atm, I'm unemployed, soon to move thus pointless to look for work unless I find a temp or seasonal job, and only have money to cover my bills until the move.

I got a good herb that's a great painkiller tbh. Crusty's also the blame for being a major pain in the back. |:
Yeah I use to only post about either ME3 or DA2 and wouldn't get many responses, then I stopped when it got too whiny for my tastes. Too many people complaining about it for far too long, I got over it pretty quickly. I got bored but had already made a few friends so I started posting more in the off topic section as well as the glorious feed the old BSN had. That feed was seriously at least 50% of the fun on BSN tbh.

Me too, to complain though
. Then I got stuck here, like a junkie. ![]()

This post reflects my thoughts exactlyTM
All this blame. I guess Sim leaving bumps me up a notch.
COME BACK SIM, WE NEED YOU MORE THAN EVER!

I came to discuss the most glorious M-35 Mako.
Look he likes the fact that you blame him.
You like this attention don't you, Crusty.
Go to tumblr and post selfies of yourself every half hour just to talk about how ugly you think you are, you attention wh0ring scum.

Sunday; roast chicken, dressing, roast potatoes, carrots, Brussels sprouts, and gravy. The girls were tucked in early, it was another laugh filled evening. Night before last was hilarious. We laughed until about midnight. "Tightly whities" was in about every 3rd sentence.Watcha cooking Corvy??
