My mother's dad left the family in deep economical trobles, and crushed its serenity, to follow other women. He's been married 3 times in total.

My father's mother always minded our businesses, being miser on helping us, hating my mother and got my dad and mom separated (but not divorced, they still loved one another) because she annoyed them so much. She always blame my mother for everything, and never appreciated she didn't have a graduation (humble origins) while my father's family is wealthy and he had a degree in Medicine.

My father's father has always been under the thumb of his wife, period.

You know, we spent so much time with what's behind the monitor, we never stopped to think what lies ahead the monitor.

I have a Spanish Garden; a pond in the centre with water spilling into it. Just behind it is a ramada with Trumpet vines, orange, red and yellow growing across the top, wonderful for shade in the summer. To the right is a barbeque and a smoker. To the left is an arched entrance to the garden and the house, with several different sages growing along the wall. To the right of the monitor is a picture of a big orange cat with a caption that reads, "I've had it with Reality - I want a fairy Godmother".

The ageism is strong here.


In my day we respected our elders. When an older person asked us to do something we always snapped to attention and brought back the brontosaurus steak they wanted or the stack of stone tablets or their rock scooter.

Many the time my grandmother or one of my aunts would ask me to do her hair and I'd whip out my fishbone comb and comb it for her. It didn't matter that the comb had less teeth than my aunt. I was happy to do that for her. And when she needed a step stool so she could climb on to her stone slab mattress, we would all get on all fours in order of size so she could walk across us into bed. It was our pleasure.

Now, young people don't eat dinosaur, they eat froo froo greensy weensy food. They listen to so called music from their magic internets boxes.

And they have no respect.

It's a sad world...
