What if some people are lurking to find a reason to "get onto someone" about such gossip?

What if the mods go after us because of cowardly reporting of such gossip?

What if people keep whining about how this thread is "off-topic" after bring up such gossip?

What if we have people throwing insults and cheap shots at others because they know they created the now gossip?

What if you post a photo so I can gormandize on that face?

What if people become trigged by that?

What? I've used it before on here. I use it a lot, thank you very much Mrs. Corv.

 

No really, English was and still is my favorite subject. I know a lot of words that most people don't know/don't normally use.

 

Actually, during the old BSN days, I had a blog that was called Word of the Day where everyday I updated with a word and its definition because I'd have a lot of people ask me on what means what. I just like helping and educating people. Only to those who seek such things ofc.

The usual nonsense and lame drama. We had a long discussion about proper nutrition that was civilized for a bit and then deteriorated into much invective.

And one poster critiqued the thread for not being serious and adhering to the original purpose. There was much sadness about that.

Breath taking reading experience you have missed. Some new pic posts, but not enough to cover the posters so we just keep going until everyone comes out. Of course Voxr has kept us all amused, and we get the occasions guest appearance from the big forum names, not to be mentioned.

Argh!  TRIGGERED!  Too many hypothetical questions.  I'm having unwanted flashbacks to undergrad psychology.

Alright fine.  No gossip.  Only genuine newsworthy events that people choose to self report.

I used to rock a word of the day (or maybe week) voicemail back before we had texts.  Only I wouldn't give anyone the definition; they had to make up a use for the word.  Like Balderdash.  It kept me entertained, but did little to spread vocabulary knowledge.
