Embarrassing fact about me:
I'm rubbish at driving in games (and before the lady jokes start, I'm at least an average driver in a real car).  Like even RDR was tricky for me because driving a pony is also challenging.  It's shameful, I know.  If I'm gonna get around to it, it'll be at a very steep discount because I know I'll just get so frustrated getting from point a to point b that I won't successfully complete more than like 5 missions.  And god help me if it's a timed one.

I've been drinking a lot of green tea and water lately since I'm getting sick. So right now green tea.

Any other time I live off of Dr. Pepper and coffee. It sure as hell ain't healthy but we all have our caffeine riddled vices...

I can drive without a crash and accident in GTA V with some concentration. But when I'm lazy or tired lots of "impacts" happen!

I'm going to take this moment to complain about plays.tv and how it is far worse than the software previously included in AMD's drivers. I was recording some GTA V gameplay for a completely original video idea and what this new software shat out was this garbage



It gets progressively worse especially around the 10 minute mark.

How did they screw this up?

Oh, by the way. My drink is water and sometimes vodka depending on mood.

It's bad the whole way through but it gets much worse around 10:00 in

Shame I don't have GTA V so I could test for you.

But I've been using plays.tv/Raptr direct recording for my Gothic 2 videos and it's absolutely fine. Also ran a few benchmarks tests of Batman: Arkham City to see the difference between plays.tv, MSI Afterburner and DXTORY on my framerates. Raptr came out on top (only by ~3 frames but still), zero quality issues at 1080p, 60fps and 50 Mb/s (max setting). Smallest file size too, my Handbrake thanks it.

I'd never trust AMD bundled software for a livestream (OBS or Steam for that), but I've been pleasantly surprised at how not-sh!t it was. It's still bloatware to a degree with all it's wannabe social bullcrap but it's almost as decent as ShadowPlay for direct recording. And I really didn't expect that. It crashed a couple of times when I tried enabling the highlights feature though, so screw using that. Have you tried recording with other games? Maybe the issue is GTA V centric. The other thing to take into account I guess is that I'm still on the Omega drivers, whereas the GTA V optimised drivers are still technically beta.

I'd say that's probably the issue. 15.4 is supposed to be a beta stopgap release because AMD was getting whipped that badly in GTA V. Who knows though. Try with some other games and see if the issue persists.

Nah, my repeated self-defeating behaviors make me way more of a masochist than my love of bourbon does.
