Update. So it seems I am going to take a MRI next. There was enough blood inside the muscle tissue and it is still sore as heck. It looks like there is a actual tear in my bicep now. Nice.
Well that sounds uncomfortable at the very least. Good luck with the recovery. Hope it's not too involved.

Here's a picture of an Eastern lubber grasshopper we saw in FL. It's hard to tell from this picture (honestly, it's a pretty crappy picture, all things considered), but the things was about two inches long.

There was this pallet at work, it had about 100kg of stuff on it. My co-worker had it stuck and asked for help so I went, grabbed it from the side and yanked it. Snap.
At this point after all these injuries I´m taking it all with dark humor, otherwise I would climb the walls too.
Well, get better soon! I've never snapped off anything and I hope it stays that way, it sounds so....unpleasant.

Ugh, that sounds really bad. Unfortunately, I have no useful advice to offer (I do teach in the humanities, after all), but I do hope that you recover as safely and swiftly as possible.
