Ms Scarlet in the Master Bedroom with a rope (actually a silk stocking, an oversight no doubt). I prefer poison, but this game has not evolved to satisfy my modus operandi. Most of the other methods leave a mess, so uncalled for.

Ah but who was it Ms Scarlet was talking to in the parlor? None other than Silvia Salander who had just returned from holiday in Morocco. She along with Mr. Salander, the estate owner, have been at ends with each other since last night. Mr. Salander had been rather vexed about recent news he had heard the evening before. Now Silvia is using this evening to cut loose. As here 3rd martini before dinner suggests and the loosening of her tongue is letting interesting details about the estate and their assets. And what might be come of them should unfortunate events transpire.....

 

 

 

I can be the eastern european hitman.

A man from Brussels, you are six feet tall and full of muscles. A friend of the estate owner you arrived a day early before this evenings events. To discuss a matter most....Troubling to Mr. Salander. You had gone down into the wine cellar before cocktails and came back up with a cut on your lower left wrist. How and why is it there? More importantly what is in the wine cellar that could possibly cause such a thing to happen. A broken bottle?

 

Or are the faces not at all what they seem as the guests gather in the dinning room for first course...

Barnesworth came into dinning room. Leading in the rest of the staff as they served the first course. 

 

" Starting this evening will be Hors D'Oeuvers and Oysters. This evening's dinner will consist of ten courses instead of the aforementioned five. At the request of Lady Salander, to........remember this day, the 8th anniversary of the Tragedy of the Titanic. Hence the nautical themed hats passed to you as you entered the manor. She is nothing if not tasteful *scuffs* "

 

 

"What was that Barnesworth?" Salander slurred in his direction

 

 

"Nothing my Lady, just a bit of a dry throat, it won't be an issue I assure you. As always you may call upon me or any number of the staff this evening to make sure the night is as enjoyable as possible. It will be our pleasure." Barnesworth turned to walk to the wine bucket, but not before passing a spiteful glare and Lady Salander. Quickly recovering, hoping no one saw....

"Lady Salander, may I present the first course of this evening's supper; broiled sweetbreads over an English pea Nage with crispy Lardoons & a Morel mushroom consume." said Barnesworth plainly. 

 

"To your health!" Scarlet made a toast. Glasses clinked.

 

Just as the guests were about to take a bite, the lightning flashed, immediately followed by a huge clap of thunder. 

 

The power went out, and there was a long silence.

Wait. I'm Barnesworth. Corvus is......Scarlet(?) Uccio is Brussels Muscles and you're Ms. Rolands

You can forego Ms. Rolands and be Maxwell Stifles: Oil tycoon and conosuir of fine strawberry brandy's with a gambling addiction and large collection of Rush memorabilia. 

Or Dean Grant: Ex-Detective turned P.I. who is constantly narrating his thoughts in a film noir-esque fashion. Likes fedora's, cheap bourbon, fast dames, and big guns. Only invited because he was a second cousin once removed and childhood friend of Mr. Salander.

"Please don't worry, everyone stay calm. We shall have the lights on shortly and resume this evenings events." Barnesworth knowing the manor was able to navigate the hall to the wine cellar door. After some scrambling around to find the fuse box Barnesworth was able to return the lights back on. He was half way up the steps before there was a blood curdling scream....

Who says the guests need to be from the same continent? Obviously Salander went to private school in Massachusetts were he meets Dean Grant and they strike up a life long friendship that know's no bounds.

 

Or is it because Dean wants a piece of the pie........

"Oh NO!" Lady Salander exclaimed, as she froze in her tracks near the east wing study. There, in a pool of crimson was Miss Rolands. She been stabbed, as the blood was still draining from her throat and the murder weapon was planted in the Mahogany desk next to her corpse. All the guests stood in shock as the sound of explosions rang out in the still night air. 

 

"Fireworks! To mark the occasion!" Said Barnesworth in a mock excitement. 

 

No one spoke.

Meanwhile, in the 5th floor ballroom, a shadowy figure stepped out of the inky darkness & unloaded all six rounds from a .44 magnum revolver into the "man from Brussels" ... he staggered and collapsed into the punch bowl with a crash. The killer hesitated, as the shots from the pistol were likely covered by the sound of the fireworks. The falling body and breaking glass was probably heard by someone. 

 

"What was that?" Said Dean Grant, reaching for his trusty side-arm.
