What if I told you that if I randomly choose 100 persons from a university where I live and ask them if they know David Bowie, nobody would bat an eye?

Then I'd say either the university is filed with kids born in the 2000's whose heads are only filled with pr0n and call of duty stuff or you haven't actually tried asking 100 random people in said university.

What If I told you that Bowie is one of the most famous artists in the world?

I did not know he was a singer for a long time. My first introduction to him was an old movie that I am sure I was to young to understand and probably still do not. But China girl is good.

By the way, I got the results. My right arm bicep is torn partially, but the torn muscle has not retracted so doctors will want to wait for two months to see if it scars back up. Two months sick leave now. And not gym for next year. Nice.

That sounds awful.  I didn't realize how serious a tear was.  I'm so sorry.

Can't you still do activities that don't involve your biceps?  I mean, running should still be an option, right.  And can't you still do like core and leg resistance training and stuff?

Haven't I told you people that 50 push-ups is more than enough for your upper body?

And you want to look like Conan the Barbarian...

Heck I've seen skinny people who have more functional body than you body builders! They're rare tho.

Thank you. I will be fine I think, my left arm bicep was torn last years so this is familiar now. But yes I can do other stuff in the gym like legs, though it will not be as rewarding as I can´t lift the heavy weights.

That´s what weak people will say. :P

I´ll have you know I am not a bodybuilder, I am a powerlifter.

They don't keep walking while doing that do they, because they would go right into a lamp post or something. How embarrassing would that be?

Where is the biceps torn anyway, at the shoulder or at the elbow? And how long until you can lift heavy again 6-8 months?

That makes Bowie sad...

But really he doesn't bat an eye to those people....

It is torn from the elbow end. For some reason it is not nearly as painful as it was with the shoulder tear. If the last time is any indicator then it will take most likely 10 months, before that it is just little weights and rubber bands at home. Hopefully this heals faster.

Adelaide is boring and more dead than one of Xil's sexual partners, Sydney is a crap city with crap traffic and crappier people and I can't even have lunch in Melbourne anymore without running into über hipsters or people with purple hair just waiting to tell me about their preferred pronouns.

Yet I'm acutely aware that I am living the good life compared to most of the world. I want off this ride, Mr. Bones.

Oh and I'll post some pics later.
