All of this talk about alcohol reminds me of how I can't drink due to a genetic condition that would shut down my liver/kidneys and lead to debilitating mini-strokes when I get older.

Yay genetics!

Hey, I can drink and do, albeit rarely. Choices, brah.

Anyway, I want to hear more on this scotch vs. bourbon debate. :P

America has the best beer in the world.  It's just not the stuff we export.  We don't actually drink that swill.

Microbrews for the win - we've got some great ones in NC and the greater south right now.

Some of the larger craft breweries you might be able to find elsewhere: Stone, Dogfish Head, Victory

FWIW, my Dad is quite fond of Moosehead. But Leigh is right. The recent explosion of microbrews around here means there are some decent beers available. Also it means everything smells like teeny tiny hops. Because of the exploding microbrews.

Well yeah, if you're drinking the big names like Coors and ****, its going to taste bad. Find the craft and microbrews.

It's the big explosion of doing everything local. The entire mentality in America right now is "man, quit my day job, do something I love (like crafting beer), promote it via social media and the Internet and make a million dollars!"

Which is pretty awesome because it seems to be working for a lot of people.

I've quit 3 jobs so far this year.  I guess I must love training martial arts and lifting weights.

I'm going to be an Etsy billionaire!  Muahahaha!

Nah. I'll keep my day job.

Although my brother did once have me knit a... um... special sweater... as a gag gift once for a friend.  He and the rest of my family told me to sell them online.  I guess they're easily impressed.

"Choosy moms and choosy BSNers, choose Jif"

On an unrelated note I started The Newsroom today. Loving it. This is probably my favorite moment so far (besides the beginning rant in EP 1).

Saw Meg Turney post about this earlier on her Facebook page, now watched her upload a video on it to The Know.

Don't worry, she's on the rational side. The people who did those photoshops...not so much. Also, feel free to read the Youtube comment section.

I love that Meg Turney of all people is the one pointing out the stupidity of those edits given she's got the body type of most video game women. Appropriate.

I think Kratos should have negligible muscle mass and a beer belly. Because otherwise I feel inferior as a male.

I'm going to protest outside Bioware's HQ demanding that Shepherd has a beer belly and is losing his hair in the next Mass Effect.  Sick and tired of these handsome assed video game characters not representing myself and my fellow males properly.

LPPrince, I love you very, very much, but don't bring that sh!t in here. The crazies will follow and I happen to like this thread. Let's hope they don't notice. I want it to stay open.

Anyway the only female body build I've ever had the slightest issue with is the Femshep from ME1 to ME2. I didn't know the Lazarus Project required so much silicone.
Generally, I don't care. But if you're gonna put a chick in bikini armor, I'd like a walking shirtless scene to balance it out. It's only fair.
