W210 E-Class, probably one of the ugliest and most unreliable Mercs ever made, it amazes me that that one has gone 300k+ miles.

Yeah, likely many parts of it are quite rusty, noisy and smelly.

meanwhile... ruggly

I like going from long to short hair every now and then. I donate my hair to cancer kids usually. Feels good to switch it up but I do hate the process of waiting for it to grow back out. Can't do crap with it.

The short hair really matches your personality more methinks, Lebo.

Some people say I look better with short hair and some say long hair. I guess I like both, but i dunno.

Now I request your opinion, Lebie dear.

Long hair.

Spoiler

Short hair.

Spoiler

I like the no bs of short hair and it's also great to have during the summers here. I also save on shampoo. I think long hair makes me look more girly than having tomboy short hair.

I'd say short hair, although you're eyes and general expression in both pictures sort of emote that you're pissed off (intentional or not) and the short hair does bring that out more.

Then again, I never claimed to be good at fashion outside of video games...so ya...

What if I told you that there is really no necessity for people to work more than 4 hours a day? You're just exhausting yourselves and screwing environment with 8-12 hours work a day.

If the employer/economists/politicians didn't want to enslave us in the first place, I had a proper job by now.

If I didn't work 10 hours a day, I couldn't even DO my job. It would be literally impossible to accomplish what I needed to for the basic requirements of my role if I wasn't on the clock more than 8 hours a day.

Unless you are talking about job working at a 7-11, then there is often very much a need for an 8 hour day. Back in pre-industrial society, farmers worked in the fields from sunrise to sunset, 12 to 14 hours every day. It wasn't until the formation of unions that the idea of a shorter workday was introduced because of increased risk of fatality after eight hours of work was found in factory jobs. Now that we live in a world where every job has on-the-job safety requirements, there really isn't a need for just an 8 hour day, minus work-life balance reasons.

You have FAR too much hope that those safety requirements are actually followed outside of an inspection.

That's why as an employee, the four most powerful letters you can say to an employer is "OSHA." One report and a surprise inspection can happen at any time.

That assumes that no one informs the business owner of the surprise inspection prior to it happening.

This was the case when I was working for a shitty start up. Start ups want you to multitask 8 different skills while killing your specialization ability

Well, some works need more time to spend. Like researching in labs, "studying", programming. Those are essential and don't consume too much resources.

But indeed some works can be done by 3-4 persons in a day. Like monitoring the streets as police for 6-8 hours not more.

But working sh*tloads of hours in factories, or staying pointlessly in stores when you shouldn't, Just to make sure your Bosses opponents fail and go bankrupt is mean and consider that natural resources aren't infinite, focusing on quantity is wasting the resources.

Natural resources like wood, oil, gas, will go extinct in a few decades and Energy isn't actually cheap and easy to maintain.

Energy CAN be cheap and easy to maintain. But the energy industry, hugely dominated by fossil fuels, is fighting to keep that not the case. Oil and gas do not need to go extinct because humanity doesn't need them if the right technologies are taken to the next level.

As for wood, I agree - we're going to run out of trees before our lives are over at the rate we are going.
