Suits look professional, and good on everyone(provided its proper'y fitted). The only downside I can think of is it might get uncomfortable in the summer and it takes a bit longer to get dressed.

Good suits look awesome, though good suits are also quite expensive: bad suits look bloody terrible, and I'd rather see techies etc wearing casual gear than a suit that doesn't fit, doesn't look good and isn't practical.

But I still really like suits. I just wish I was a better shape to have a nice suit fitted. Unfortunately I'm one of those people who puts all her weight on her waist, so even a decent suit would look like teh suck on me.

Other than that, I've got a long torso, which makes tying a tie tricky to get the right length and also not have my Windsor not look like a cherry stem. Not to mention the freaking weekly dry cleaning bill...

Ooh yeah. Well, the "work at home in your dressing-gown, and get dressed in an old tee and jeans in time for lunch" option anyway. I kinda regret giving up that job, though the pay and politics of the company in question just sucked too much (Digital Equipment Corporation, to name the guilty).

Heck, every afternoon I get home, kiss my wife, hug my daughter, run back to my room and have on pajama pants and t-shirt before you can say "Lichtenstein."

My suits aren't that uncomfortable, but I usually get lighter (weight) fabric instead of heavy wool and then spend the extra $25 to get them custom fitted. It feels like I'm wearing a full body glove - which is nice, but I don't usually have to pay through the nose to dry clean a glove every week.
