I don't like lamb
God you are missing out. Bloody lamb chops & a glass of a nice big, dry Syrah... *weeps*

Man I love too cook and I love me some lamb. Also love gator, veal, bison (actual buffalo, guys), deer, duck etc.
It's a peeve when people don't know how to properly prepare food tbh. My brother and I are both like this. We can put a mean meal or party together, not just food but mix drinks as well. Love coming up with new ways to reinvent food and alcoholic drinks.

I love making dishes, though I find making roasts and that boring (except roast pork cause crackle) right now I'm trying to make a delicious chocolate mousse so I'm mostly playing around with the recipe until it hits my standard of excellence... so far... it hasn't yet...

Anglo-Indian (or -Pakistani or -Bangladeshi) is probably my favourite. Can't beat a nice hot vindaloo. Though the fiery bum the next morning isn't so entertaining.
plain old Anglo-Saxon food is usually a firm "meh" (though I do like me some fish and chips)
in terms of regional food, Japanese and Tex-Mex are probably my favorites, with Italian and Greek close behind them

People who used to watch Lamb Chop and Shari Lewis on PBS are now in their 30s. Kudos you still know what a VCR looks like. Bonus if you had a separate rewinder.

I used to watch it and I'm not in my 30's yet. I liked Hush Puppy the best though.

It's actually a lot more interesting and varied than often assumed. I think British food got a bad rap thanks to the many years of post-war rationing and hideous things like dried eggs and "vegetables" that needed to be boiled to death to not break your teeth. Not surprisingly it took quite a while for decent cooking to take off again.
Anyway, here's some Indian-esque lamb kebabs I made some time back. It's a Keith Floyd recipe, and tastes really good. The yellow colouring is turmeric, if I recall, though without consulting his book I'm now slightly vague about the marinade and other ingredients. But probably yoghurt, lime, chilli, the usual suspects.
