I've had a pizza where the sauce was ranch, instead of marinara or another white sauce.

It was pretty tasty.

Damn though white pizza is delicious

My housemate makes two hot sauces using Ghost Chilies (if I recall correctly) although only one of them is available for purchase, yet.

They're both fours (as in 4 out of 5 on the heat scale that some people use) but I can only handle one of them. The other one... tasty, but she is too much for me, yet.

Maybe in another year or two...:P

Damn it now I'm hungry.

Excuse me while I make myself a ham sandwich with ranch dressing or pour sriracha sauce on a banana or some other nonsense

Indian food is TOP. Everything my father has ever made that I've eaten has been stupidly good. Only problem is it takes bloody forever to prepare no matter what it is, hahaha

If anyone's ever eating Indian food and its too spicy, consider a side of raita. Fixes that up quick.

Just give me raita and paratha and I'm set.

There is a local pizzeria that makes a good pie with Jalapenos. My aged system is not what is used to be, but a few gracing the entire pie can be terrific. But one should work their way to that point....

A friend from a background of old fashioned country cooking decided to share a pizza with me while watching films at the Student Center. After a single slice, he was panting and drinking lots of water, and that was it. Several minutes later, another friend stopped by, and asked what was on the pizza. He was invited to eat the leftovers, but when he winced at the thought of the peppers, we told him to take them off, which he did. By hand.

There was still enough pizzazz remaining from the picked peppers to cause a decent sweat to form on the brow of my friend, and on the final slice, he chose to wipe his eyes. By hand. He hit a high note most tenors would envy on the rush to the restroom to flush his eyes!

Naan bread. 'Nuff said.

I've had everything from roti, paratha, naan, etc etc

Something about naan makes me not enjoy it as much as some of the others. Might be texture or thickness.

For me, give me a well made paratha and I'm DONE.

Spicy pizza is the best though. Good places are few & far between where I'm at. So I save time & money by making my own, I usually do scratch pizza with pita or flat bread. The last time making some I strained some salsa & mixed that with the sauce. Came out great. When I can, I do habenero cheese with mozzarella. The hotter the better.

Putting shrimp on pizza is a very delicate process or you will either ruin the pizza or the shrimp will have no flavor.

And I put a lot of red pepper flakes on my pizza.

I've only used red pepper flakes a few times. Good though.

I have a friend who will literally cover a slice of pizza in garlic powder.  Like a full tablespoon or more on one slice.  It's super gross.

Indian food is TOP. Everything my father has ever made that I've eaten has been stupidly good. Only problem is it takes bloody forever to prepare no matter what it is, hahaha

I'm not allowed to go to Indian buffets any more because I always end up eating my own weight in delicious Indian food and making myself sick.

I want that pizza though!  Thanks for the recipe.  That's happening.

Also this thread made me go to Chick-fil-A after the gym this afternoon.  Totally negated the work out.  How is a chicken sandwich a snack?  I'm not proud of myself, but it was delicious.

I love garlic powder on pizza. Better yet, cooked cloves of garlic.

Actual garlic I'm 100% on board with.  Especially if it's roasted.

The powder has a funny after taste.  The same friend kept sending back glasses of wine that she thought had gone bad until she realized the garlic powder was messing with her.
