After seeing Hawke as a Mage (in the default career, with no previous imports), decided it was time to try this dragonkeep feature. After finishing, i just gave up. At some point, i was hoping to use my old saves from DA1 and DA2. But no. Had to go over the wikia to help me remember what the f- happened in almost every choice. And still, i couldnt remember them all. We are talking about a game (DA1) that i played 5 fking years ago. You cant expect me to remember all the **** i did, and the choices i made. So the hell with this new type of controling everything via "online" mode and ****. The good old days where you just imported a saved file and there you go, everything is neat...what happened? Why force people to be connected to servers sharing tons of data when all i want was to play a friggin game? In the past, all i needed was to purchase and install the game to play it. Now, i need an account to download a program to allow me to download games, and an account to access all this features, an account to link all this data (data like my system spect...wtF?) an account to allow me to go to the batroom, an account to let me sleep, an account to wipe my arse, an account to breath, practically...whatever. I just gave up. You ask for too much time on my part before i can even play the stupid game. Just keep it,

No wonder ppl pirate games a lot. Its so much easier and faster...gee...go figure why

Welcome to the second decade of the 21st century where all games on pc require an account and program to download and install, its hardly a chore. You just seem to be lazy and entitled.

Watch the videos read the wiki to make the choices. Once you've imported a worldstate you can play offline forever (unlike with steam(

Personally I really like this feature of the Dragon Keep; editing together what may have happened in the prequels, what decisions were made by my hero and put it all together they way I would have decided, instead of letting the video game company decide for me and making it all universal "set-in-stone" world state that is true for everyone.

What if my hero was a Dalish Elf and what if he decided to fall in love with Leliana?

Should that world state be true for every person that plays the game? No it shouldn't.

With this system, I can decide what I did as oppossed to what others decided for their hero in the prequels and allow for my decisions to reflect into my DAI gameplay, instead of being contradicted by a universal world state.

I just started playing DAO (after I started DAI), because DAI moved and inspired me on so many leveles as no game has before, I wanted to go back and experience the prequels. And I wish I would have played the prequels years ago.

My hero in DAO is a Dalish Elven Warrior, who is to fall in love with Leliana and who is not to die at the end against the Demon, and I love the fact that these decisions are able to be reflected in DAI, were once again I am playing a Dalish Elven Warrior, a female.

And I get a kick out of it by seeing the changes from DAO and DAII reflected in my DAI gameplay.

I see this as a great evolution in which games are played and experienced.

The potential for one's hero to carry over in sequels via the Dragon Keep, my hero being able to be as she is now in the next games, her decisions not contradicted by a universal world state, but having my own world state the way I want it.

I wish Bethesda were to adopt this system and do the same for their Fallout and Elder Scroll games.

To be able to meet the Courier from New Vegas in a future Fallout game and look the same as he/she did in Fallout New Vegas and her/his decisions reflect the same, not be contradicted.

What Bioware has created here with the advent of the Dragon Keep, editing previous games world states, exporting them and importing them in sequels, I think will greatly influence the way games are made in the future.
