I'm looking at the characters on the Dragon Age Wiki...and it seems that males only get one female romance option.

 

Is this true?

False. Straight males have Cassandra and Josephine.

Gay males have Dorian and Iron Bull.

Bisexual males get all of the above.

Technically males get four possible choices. There are two female options, Cassandra and Josephine, and two male options, Dorian and Iron Bull.

Maybe you checked only male inquisitor only romances and didn't see male and female inquisitor one. There is two options for straight male PC (all races), Cassandra and Josephine.

It's true OP. Cassandra is actually a man, so Josephine is the only female romance option. You're new, though, so I'll let it slide.

My brother is "straight male" but that didn't stopped him to create female Shepard over fifty times just to romance Garrus!Know why,because he likes Garrus as character and he understands what game is and he doesn't mix it with real life thing.So seriously can these damn posts about "straight gamer male player" stop already?

Most males don't give a damn about romances in here,it is just little minority it seems that treats game romances as real ones.

Yeah, I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt here.  It seemed liked a qualifying question and not an accusatory one.  But I might be too naive at at times too.

I'd go with you are too kind and this is a troll. Googling "dragon age inquisition romances" literally first hits a wiki with all the romances sorted by gender required. But maybe I am too skeptical

Male players get to choose from any available romance storyline.

 

Male avatars will be gated, and I believe there are 2 females, which is twice as many as one.

While i would have very much liked an Elf, or at least, non human, romance option available to straight males, I would rather have an intimate moment with a festering Deepstalker than I would Sera.
