TL DR: bad PC port is bad, bad Frostbite 3 engine is bad. problems in the deepest programming levels. Don't expect a patch to fix it.

The "amusing" thing is that both the OP and EA tech support say they've exhausted all their options and are now awaiting on the studio to respond. Which they haven't.

So I guess Bioware isn't just not communicating to the fans, they're not communicating with EA tech support either.
