I also cannot login. It stays stuck on the EA "Please Wait..." screen then I get an error message saying "Communications with the Mass Effect 2 Server was interrupted or timed out. Please try again later." with a "OK" button. WTF EA.... I want to login into the Cerebus Network so I can have my DLC bonuses.....

Stuck at the "Please wait" screen after I try to login. Any admin's reading this thread? Would really like to know why I can't log into EA's servers.

I also have this problem. I've been foaming at the mouth so long for this game that now I'm not even angry. Just deeply, deeply saddened. Like a punch to the balls on christmas morning.

Add my name to the list. I guess the server is down. It sure doesn't handle it very gracefully, though - just sits there waiting for like 10+ minutes before either giving me an error or making me force-quit the thing.

Me too. Has anyone tried creating a new account? does it happen there too, or just when you log in with an existing account?

Yup keeps sitting there doing nothing till it tells me I have an Error and couldn't connect to the server. Must have Crashed within the last 25 mins. Cause thats when all these posts started.

Perhaps they are addressing the issue with the people redeeming thier Cerberus network card online, and not being able to access thier DLC ingame.

Yeah, I can't login either. If there is as server issue, why hasn't something at least been announced?
I'm really pissed off, because console gamers don't have to deal with this bull****. First I stay up late last night thinking my Mass Effect download will be released at midnight (just like the copies at the GameStops doing midnight releases). Oh, that is not the case. Okay, I say to myself, I guess it's for the best. Hopefully release issues will be sorted out in the morning.
HO HO, they're not! And now I can't even play the game that I bought and own because the people who created the Cerberus Network login function come from a land where the word "knife" is the same as the word "q-tip" which is the only explanation I can proffer for such incompetence. Nothing against the developers of the game content itself. I point my long, accusatory finger at the witless morons of EA management, who no doubt "suggested" that playing Mass Effect 2 should also entail entrapment in the labyrinthian nightmare of stupidity that is EA Online.

Same issue. The thing that really sucks is that you can't use the DLC without being logged in, even if you downloaded it here.

Me too.... typical of EA... possibly the worst company ever. Bioware is possibly the best and they are unfortunitely tied to EA. The day of a massive release of a highly anticapated game and EA does not have the pieces in place. Sad...

Woot, I can't log in. AWESOME!
I am just going to save all my DLC codes. I just want to play the game. I'll sort all this crap out later.

It's funny, if I put in the wrong password, it kicks it back. But if I put in the right password, it just sits there.
Also, who's bright idea was it to just get us stuck on a #### "Please Wait" screen? Ever heard of a cancel button so we could play the game instead of cursing your name?

Same Deal, can't log into Cerberus Network.
EDIT: Same deal as above so at least it's getting to authentication, so why isn't it logging in, is there an Admin out there somewhere.

Same problem here...would've been nice if Bioware allowed an in-game kill switch that allows you to back out to the main menu. As it is now, you have to Alt-F4 or Alt-Tab and kill the game to get out.....

Same issue, stuck at please wait... very poor. They need to release what they are doing to fix this problem. So much for a smooth release with DLC codes.
