I can't get past the Please Wait screen either. I even went and downloaded the files from this site and ran them. They show up if i don't try to connect to the cerebus network but it says they can't be authorized without signing in! nice way to screw up on opening day.

What is weird is that it isn't the login server that is down - if you typo your user-id it comes back immediately "invalid id". So it is connecting. It just goes into "wait mode". I've already downloaded and installled all my DLC , and I've even registered the game, not certain what else it could be attempting to do...

I noticed Bioware.com down for a few minutes. There was a message stating that game authentication servers were infact down. It is definitely a server issue and shame on those people telling others to open unnecessary ports on their routers.
Hopefully everything will be good soon.

Add me to the list of people stuck at the "Please wait" screen. Though I'd like to note it looks like some are having the exact same issue over on the 360 Tech Support forum. A dev said over there they have, in fact, alerted EA. Either way, looks like we're stuck waiting for a bit if we want our DLC goodies.

The servers are overloaded. They shouldn't be. Whomever is in charge of assigning network resources should have taken into account the massive increase of business related to a release day of DLC and registrations. The Bioware and EA teams hopefully can resolve this issue before the release of Old Republic or future DLC, otherwise my experiences with both DA:O and ME2 are beginning to make me feel as if DLC is not worth the price, which does include preordering and Collectors Edition content.
Please, communicate a bit more with your network partners to ensure that the servers can handle the strain of release day/patch day volumes.

Still waiting... hurrah such excitement. Christ, didn't they learn anything from the DA launch?

The strange thing is if you put a wrong password the game somehow connect to the server and tell you "you password don't match with you e-mail" in just a second but using the right password well...everyone knows what happen...

this seems to be a problem with other popular games such as Team fortress 2 for Steam. No matter how many times, they seem to NEVER get things ready for the release day of new content. Every update, there has been a plague of problems involving steam cloud going down due to server overload. They say you learn from the past to move tranquil into the future. Apparently big buisness such as EA have selective amnesia on this subject.

Just adding voice to the choir. Logging into EA ingame = "please wait..." forever. However, trying to create an EA Account works just fine up until it realizes that I already have one.

We must be idiots we pay extra for more fun and now we have to wait God know how long to play with the extra content..
While pirates had the game with crack AND dlc working is just not fair...

I was able to redeem/download the my Steam pre-order DLC install files from my EA profile (which I thought was an odd way to go about accessing DLC).
However, I am in the same boat as everyone else with "Please Wait..." from the ME2 Cerberus Login.

Yup, stuck at please wait. Been reading the thread for a bit, thought i'd throw another name on the list of people not being able to connect to cerberus.

I have an idea for some downloadable content. You pay $5, and you get an exclusive live video feed of the EA Online management, trapped in a box full of malcontented bees.

Please wait... ^&%^%@%$
There is a lot of posts here, is there anything anyone is doing that is getting them results?
Just frustrated. I have limited time today and wanted a couple of hours in before real life intrudes.

Add me tp the long list. I'd play a new game without any DLC, but the imports don't work either. ARGH
