Worst part is they had this issue with the registration part of the D2D installer for Mass Effect 1.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUU

I mean, I also would like to express my disdain for not being able to connect to the cerberus network for hours now and not being able to use my dlc.

The strange thing is if you put a wrong password the game somehow connect to the server and tell you "you password don't match with you e-mail" in just a second but using the right password well...everyone knows what happen... -_-

Well, their authentication servers are working but their database system must be down. My guess is that their database system is getting too many queries to handle the load, it is either droping the queries or the database server is crashing.

Just a thought, any ideas? It might be fun to speculate what the issue is. You know, since we are bored and waiting for it to work?

I have an idea for some downloadable content.  You pay $5, and you get an exclusive live video feed of the EA Online management, trapped in a box full of malcontented bees.

I'd pay $5 to see that.

Ah, this please wait screen is goin to be legendary. Everyone who played ME1 and loved it has ME2 right now, pre-ordered or otherwise, and the majority of us are experiencing this. Even outside posters of this thread, every nerdy kid i know is going through this.

That is a completely different **** up, her code works but she still can't log onto the network in game. That is about people who can't get the cerberus code to get accepted by the BioWare website.

Well if the DB is getting hit too hard, I imagine that we have a better chance of getting through by continually spamming it instead of sitting and waiting at the "Please wait..." screen.

Is there a way to back out of the Please wait screen without terminating the program?

I also refuse to play without the DLC working...

They could at least show up and say ok guys we screw up but we are fixing , that's all

Hey ItachiBR, are you able to launch the game? I'm from Brazil too, and purchase mine thru EA Store, but I cannot launch the game due the release date check.

Oh... and the little part where they haven't even aknowledged the problem with a official statement... yah there is that too, that helps with the whole having to speculate thing.

Have you read the posts? Both problems end in the "Please Wait" Screen.

this is so annoying...EA gets so much money but they can never handle the products they get the money from.

... Well it was a lot to hope the release was not as riddled with holes as the ME1 release but people can hope.

I'm surprised a single player game is having issues with servers.  How did EA not prepare for this?
