I also refuse to play without the DLC working...

They could at least show up and say ok guys we screw up but we are fixing , that's all

Hey ItachiBR, are you able to launch the game? I'm from Brazil too, and purchase mine thru EA Store, but I cannot launch the game due the release date check.

Well i don't know buddy cause now i'm stuck on the wait screen forever but i live in the USA so i will not have this problem (i hope)

Ergh! Same problem loging in here.

Why did I pass up the360 version? I have level 50s saved on both the PC and 360 that I could have ported. <kicks self repeatedly>

I think we're owed some free DLC, given that hackers have already released all the stuff we paid for, only they don't have to sit around waiting for EA to un-**** themselves.

Timeouts:
Some
users are reporting timeouts or connection drops to Cerberus Network.
We are actively pursuing a fix to this and will update everyone once it
is fixed on the server-side.

They are recognizing it as a server-side problem, although I think "Some" should probably be "All" unless we get some confirmation people are actually logging in successfully.

Keep an eye out for updates on this, I imagine it will be fixed as soon as they fix their login servers.

And yes this is one of the worst launch day authentication executions I've ever seen.

Worst part is they had this issue with the registration part of the D2D installer for Mass Effect 1.

I believe they don't even know why some users most using vista and 7 cannot connect to the server like i said before i was only able to play ME1 on windows 7 thanks to a regular user i wish i could remember his name

If server load is the issue, then should have been able to go according to their pre-order sales + estimated store sales and setup temporary servers through a data center to handle the load from the first week to avoid this.

I've got the same problem, and I'll be honest if I can't play the game by tomorrow, the game is going back to the store. I shouldn't have to be going through this much grief, just to play the game.

Adding my name to the list. My codes registered fine, can't log in in-game though.

Sorry if I'm double posting, but enough is enough, I can't even play the game. I login with my EA Online account, and it just sits there at the please wait screen. There is no excuse for this garbage, and if I'm not able to login and play the game I paid for, by Wednesday morning, I'm taking the game back for a refund.

Bioware and EA, the ball is now in your hands to get this issue fixed and soon, so I can play the game, or you will lose money on this one.

same here, I find it ridiculous that I payed around 64 dollars for a game I can't even play. I could understand if it was a problem with my computer, but NOT when it's EA's inability to realize that MAYBE just MAYBE there would be a LOT of people trying to log onto the network on launch day!

I redeemed the CN code on Bioware site, but when I log in within the game menu, it asks for me to redeem (which shows "code used") or purchase (which I have already bloody done)...

Blood Dragon Armor and Collector Armor work fine though. Not sure what I'm missing with the CN thing...

The game prompts me to login to my eaaccount/cerberus network (whatever you want to call it) so that I can access the DLC I picked up, I entered my info then get permenantly stuck on the EA "please wait..." screen.  I'm hoping the servers are just down, anyone else run into this?

Yeah, it gave me the "Please Wait" screen too. And I had no way to get out of it. Stayed that way for a good fifteen minutes while I went to make a sandwich. Came back. Still there. Had to kill the program.

I was worried I was the only one...not that it makes things any better, it's just good to know that it probably is just the servers

it is possible to play ME2 right now even if you don't have Cerberus activated. Just register your codes on your Bioware profile and download straight from there.

(I don't know if anyone else has already posted this, so sorry if every other page is filled with the same response)

The servers are overloaded. They shouldn't be. Whomever is in charge of assigning network resources should have taken into account the massive increase of business related to a release day of DLC and registrations. The Bioware and EA teams hopefully can resolve this issue before the release of Old Republic or future DLC, otherwise my experiences with both DA:O and ME2 are beginning to make me feel as if DLC is not worth the price, which does include preordering and Collectors Edition content.

Please, communicate a bit more with your network partners to ensure that the servers can handle the strain of release day/patch day volumes.

This.  There is no way the demand was unexpected.  Can't connect, stuck at Please Wait.... as well.
