I get stuck on the please wait screen when I try to connect to EA Online. Then it times out. Widespread problem?

Yeah I have the same problem. I figured it is just the network getting overloaded or something.

I'm having the same exact problem. I enter my account name and password and get stuck at the loading screen. This game is annoying me to say the least. The collectors edition armor code I got is bad and now this...

its weird.. if i purposely put in a wrong email address, or wrong password, it responds that it is wrong. it only sticks at please wait if i put valid info.

my codes are all fine it seems, but since i'm not logged in to cerberus-network my downloaded and installed DLC won't work..... :-/

I am having the exact same problem.
I dowloaded all my DLC but I can't authenticate it in game because it gets stuck at the "Please wait..." screen.

Yeah it did give me an error screen after about 5 minutes the first time. Though this time it's just stuck there still after 10 minutes.

so as long as you dont want the downloadable content or anything else that you paid for, you can play.

I don't mind waiting, but after the release of Dragon's Age and this release, I hope we're learning valuable server stability lessons for Old Republic.

Well, they have about one to two hours before the US work force rush begins. I took off a little early today to get ahead of it, but it doesn't seem that's going to happen.
