Looking in youtube there seems to be variations on who joins the game presumably dependent on you approval with the character. When I played it everyone barring Solas, Vivienne and Leliana were in. Is there a way to get the last three to join?

Could you see them seriously joining?

I could see Leliana joining.  Viv and Solas, not so much.

I don't think so. All the chairs are full without those three. Plus Leliana doesn't have an approval system and Vivienne and I are always on good terms and she never shows up. (Besides, it really wouldn't be her or Solas's thing anyway.)

Well Blackwall mentions Solas trouncing him so I thought he was an addition and I just didn't add him in yet.

Does Sera ever play, or is she just always drunk under the table for some odd reason?

I actually can picture Solas coming in & win ALL rounds. Remember how he win that blind chess match with Bull?

I can see Solas enjoy playing, I just can't see Solas wanting to play when the main purpose is socializing rather than the game. Sitting around with a big crowd of people laughing, drinking, and telling stories just doesn't seem like his thing. He'd be a try-hard complaining about people not focusing on the game.

There's a dialogue about Blackwall teaching Solas a card game and the next day Solas was able to completely thrash him at it.

It's probably a good thing Solas doesn't play we already have one card shark in Josie.

Everyone telling Solas to loosen up would be funny. Hell, even LI!Cass kicks back during the game.

Just for reference, the game that Blackwall taught Solas is 'Diamondback'.

And no, the card game is largely set in how it plays out.

I would love to see Solas vs Cullen on chess. But since the Quizzy can beat Cullen, Solas must be able to beat him easily.
