Which 2 are better:

elegant defense (reduced cooldown on barrier is nice for saving bros)

reinforced barrier (i dont feel like doing the math on armor but im pretty sure this is weaker then strength of spirits)

strength of spirits (bigger shields are better right?... right?)

knight protector (mostly to let me cast barrier on the group and then go into the fight with full mana)

encircling veil (used to run it when I had lightning cage, but if im comboing for nightmare it wont do much)

smothering veil (no idea how good this actually is, weakness only lasts a 9 or so seconds and things hit like a truck on perilous)

stormbringer (seems totally not worth the slot, 300% damage every 15 seconds seems super weak unless im solo kiting on perilous)

energy bombardment (I run an ice staff right now, since im going to be doing nightmare combos, im not sure this would effect my actual damage output very much, even if I ran a lightning staff, could be wrong though)

 

I can't decide, im leaning for 2 barrier spells unless im underestimating the veils, but which two are better...

 

If i don't get strength of spirits I can take out winters stillness and natures shield so that's always an option (since I wont be running lightning cage gasp)

IIRC Strength of Spirits is not good. It increases your barrier, but it makes it deplete much faster as well since the depletion rate is based on % of your total barrier. I can't be bothered to dig up the math behind it, but is on the forums somewhere. I never take it on my Arcane Warrior (it could be different on a Keeper though).

I guess what im really asking is *reinforced barrier+another veil* better then *knight-protector + strength of spirit*
