Decided to begin another playthrough of ME3 and I wanted to use a few mods. To be on the safe side I redownloaded the game from Origin, grabbed the latest stable version of ME3Explorer and followed the instructions. Things seemed to be going ok until I went into Gibbed to switch over to the new hairstyle and this ended up happening...

This is what it's supposed to look likeme3_rose_hair_by_nameislooney-d79avaj.jp

I checked the Hair Mesh, Hair_Diff and Hair_Mask entries and everything that should be there is. It might be a problem with how I installed things in ME3Explorer but I can't for the life of me think what I could've screwed up as I followed all the instructions. I did install plenty of mods and textures (not using Texmod) and I have a vanilla backup so if someone can point me in the right direction I'd be grateful :P

Ottemis solved this for me over on the ME3Explorer forums, I'll post her solution here just in case anyone else has the same issue...

What you need to do is NOT use TPF/DDS Tools to permanently apply the texture since it seems to screw with some of them. Replace the pcc files affected (in this case BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.pcc) from a backup and apply the mesh mod again (NOT the texture file). From here, load up Texmod and then use the mod's texture file
