Does Chevalier's Step Have Any Effect?

Not sure if I wasted the perk.

 

I know armour has no effect right now, so it seems as though 30% bonus of 0 would be 0, meaning I probably should have skipped that ability.

Meh, it's situational. I find it more beneficial for the Templar than the Legionnaire, as I find myself needing to move more often.

Honestly I think that the armor bonus should not be part of the upgrade. It would make for sense for Chevalier's Step to double movement speed and half stamina drain from damage.

Decreased stamina drain on blocking would be huge.

 

I try not to hold my guard up so long that movement speed is much of an issue.

This, if it reduced the stamina cost of blocking I would grab it in a heartbeat, I don't find myself chasing after enemies with shieldwall up, so I don't really care about he movement speed.
