I am wondering if the classes I choose have specific quest and areas only seen with that class and nothing else. Specially the mages, will I be able to deal with demons for biscuits, corrupt children in the streets with blood magic candy, being in the fade and let everyone know that I know that place. 

 

All I want is something more than the one liners we get like "I know what a fireball is", "turn him into an emotional flan" or the timed whack a mole thing we do on the war table, because that's disappointing.

 

Seeing as this humble beefcake is turning into an op-god-like-spam-monster, my body is ready to ditch that class, but if I can ruin a child life I will carry on with the burden of ******-slapping everything left and right with my mind.

Being a mage sometimes gives you special judgement and dialogue options throughout the game. You don't get locked out of quests depending on class. Only thing that's specific to classes is the specialization acquiring quests.
