So, does the damage bonus from blessed blades apply to everything or just demons?  The tooltip says "especially while fighting demons" or whatever, but it doesn't have two different damage increase numbers.  Do you deal 15% more damage to everything, more than that against demons, less against non-demons, or nothing against non demons?

Its been tested, only against demons and you still have to be in the aura circle. So overall a terrible skill.

I heard a rumor that Gathering Storm (The Storm Mage ability that reduces CDs by .5 seconds per hit) is bugged and does nothing. I wouldn't be surprised if that bug affected Blessed Blades as well, but I can't test it.

 

That said, I've also heard someone else say Blessed Blades DOES in fact work, but since I'm reinstalling DAI I can't test it.

Try it out yourself: Cast the spell, everyone will receive the 15% damage buff whether they are in the Circle or not. Step in the Circle and receive a 2nd buff that increases your damage against demons only. It might work.

Ive tried it out on Cassandra there was no difference in her damage with out without the buff against a non demon mob. Mob was a lurker. To ensure that i would be able to see a difference i was using a 2 hander with 242 damage. auto attacks were the same and i saw no damage increase with or without.

Basically who ever designed warriors this time screwed them over. From terrible 2 handed tree, crappy dragon claws, broken 2 handed detonators (all of them), stupid wall of fire attack (makes no sense) and a lot of shitty skills, many broken skills due to front armour not updating. Hell templars this time get no bonuses against mages either which they should. Even their magic resistance is a just a didly 10% now.

Presumably not bugged, but it only works for abilities from the storm tree.

There's a very simple way to test this. Horn of valor also has a 15% damage bonus unupgraded. Blessed blades has a 15% damage bonus. Cast them back to back and look at the damage. It is OBVIOUS that blessed blades isn't doing anything while horn of valor is. Tested on bears in the hinterlands.

Number of times non-crit damage over 340 with horn of valor? Innumerable.

 

It's obvious which one is applying 15% damage and which isn't.
