So we all know of Qunaris,the big horned beasts whit deep voice and very nice breasts xD

But who are they or better to say what!? Well I got my own crazy theory on that one but first let's recall some things:

-IB says that Qunari are pretty much "dragon race"(also in comic Sten himself says same) and biggest proof that Qunari really do have dragon blood in them is also when IB says that when we slain the dragon that something in dragon spoke to him.

-Cory,if you play Qunari says that Qunari are not race but mistake.

-Kolgrim from DAO the dragon cultists offers you dragon blood in exchange for your help.He also says that those who have drank the dragon blood once they die they will be reborn as one of dragons/high dragons(depending on gender in here).

Now here is my theory...as we all know Tevinter used to worship dragons as one of their Gods,so there is possibility that Qunari are actually result of Tevinter's experiments in another words I think Tevinter made Qunari in first place.Now here are two reasons perhaps why.

One is that their admiration for dragons drove them to create something in their honor that could serve dragons mabye as personal army.

Second reason is the most logical one if Kolgrim's theory is correct and that is Tevinter made Qunari to spawn their dragon masters.

Perhaps Qunari mages would be reborn as higher rank dragon(that would be also the one of reasons why Qunari fear their mages most).Also as we know "high dragons" or big ones are females which would mean that female Qunari would be reborn as big one,also could explain why Qun is against women fighting.Could it be that Qunari in truth are just essence of dragon that when they become savage it results in birth of dragon?

~~~Still I know one theory in here that is true and that is that Qunari are DRAGONBORN!
Proof is IB can hear dragon speaking to him and understand it! So they are Dragonborn no doubt and this at least explains Skyrim version of how humans,elves,khajiits and argonians have dragon blood in them...they are all Qunari hybrids xD
Don't be telling Qunari secrets.  We know who the Qunari fans are around here.  We don't need or want band wagon fans.
-Cory,if you play Qunari says that Qunari are not race but mistake.
He says that? Like he literally says that the Qunari race is a mistake? I know he says you, as in the Inquisitor, is a mistake but does he say that about the Qunari too?
Anyway I figure there's probably something darker hidden in the Qunari's backstory. Some heavy hints are dropped. Solas outright saying the Qunari are only held in check by the Qun making it less of a religion/philosophy and more a carefully constructed prison for themselves, there's Bull that says the Qunari came from some dark thing that they bear no more resemblance too. There's the tendency for Qunari defectors to go violent, even Bull and the Inquisitor are constantly embroiled in violence and at we know that at least Bull loves it. So yeah, definitely more to explore there.
Heh, I wouldn't go that far.
Though I am chomping at the bit to learn more about their origins.  From what Iron Bull says, the "Kossith" still exist and the Qunari we know splintered off from them so long ago that they're now considered two separate races.
And even more interesting, the Kossith are purportedly something insidious that the Qunari fear, right up there with demons and magic.
Apparently kossith are more like what ogres actually look like?
I was thinking something similar, Tevinter took kossith and made qunari the same way they took dogs and made mabari.
Well, if the Tevinters modified/bred Kossith with dragons to get Qunari, that would explaing the seemingly inborn hatred Qunari have for Tevinters. Were the Kossith once or perhaps still servants of Tevinter. Are some slaves or magisters still carrying Kossith blood, would that be the reasom Fenri's master had somewhat pointy ears, not elf but Kossit, or are Kossith and elves related, even share a common racial ancestor?
Ogres are being created by a Qunari broodmother, Genloks by a dwarven one Hurlock by a human one and Shade by an Elven one.
Supposedly, but it's not like we've actually seen a qunari broodmother.
And apparently there were ogres before the glittering armor qunari arrived in Thedas. (and before they ditched the armor in favor of oiling their pillowy man bosoms) These have been explained in WoT as originating from a group of 'kossith' in the korcari wilds, as I understand it.
The Tevinters did not create the Qunari, their relationship doesn't reflect that at all.
Not that they would admit they did create the qunari even if they did but according to Iron Bull the Kossith caused the qunari to flee which means they are likely scarier than the Qunari at any rate.
Big, slow moving targets, easy to hit with arrows and spells.
Join the Exalted March today! Every Qun-horn gets you a golden Sovereign! Let the Maker guide us against these abominations, to victory, for THEDAS! FOR THE MAKER!
Dragonlance early 80's the dragonlings were a magic splice of dragons and something...human, dwarf elf...something, so theoretically having dragon DNA magically spliced into Kossith...Barbarians type race from the far north is plausible.  Now we have Barbarian race with horns. The Qun itself is not their race, it is a Philosophy.
I thought they might be evolved bipedal dragonlings:  http://dragonage.wik...wiki/Dragonling
Which would then explain the dragon empathy Iron Bull feels.
That, or maybe an ogre got frisky with a dragonling, much like the Welsh with sheep, just they managed to fertilise...
I'm not so sure I would call it a religion as much as a perfect and highly effect way of life in which all thrive, but ok we will go ahead.
What is wrong with it that makes you not a fan of it?  Every group has their good and bad....why is the Qun something you see as negative over other systems?
While I can appricate that they pick the most fitting position for you and then edjucate you to fill that role I don't like the reedjucators, that they want to control how people think. I also don't like the breeding program the qun has. I did get along very well with Sten i DA:O so I think I might have the same basic values as the qun I just disagree with some parts of it.
Well then you can certainly like the race, but when the Qun is unleashed you will be going the same way all Tal-Vashoth go.  Dead.  There is no one in Thedas that will be able to stop the Qunari.  People will say Tevinter....but if they could do anything they wouldn't have lost Seheron in the first place...and for sure would have did something besides get slaughtered in their attempts to take it back.
They can sit in their port city behind their walls....the Dreadnaughts will make it a fun battle to watch.
You either "click" with the Qunari or you don't...most don't and I understand that.
You mean other than the 1984 Ministries of truth and love they have going, how you can't have family, how if you voice the slightest dissent or even different of opinion you get mind raped or made into a mindless vegetable.
Oh not reedjucated or repurposed then? Dying honrably fighting is something I'd rather do so fine by me.
Yeah I get what you mean with that you have to click with them I disagreed with the mind control parts but agreed with the honor and that everyone should always do what they can. Always.
