So far I've been building everything from scratch, is there an option for you to import your DAO/DA2 saves into the keep? Both my DAO and DA2 was purchased before origin so it's not connected to it - is that why there's no option for import?

You don't import saves.

You create a World State in the Keep and Import it into the game.

I heard that you should be at least able to import your decisions? How about faces?

Nothing is imported. Not decisions, not custom PC appearance. You enter decisions manually.

Actually I was wondering about this too, because two of my origin characters could be found from the Keep? The decisions didn't carry but I was able to choose my character, which includes name / appearance / gender / class. And also a really small part of my achievements were there too. So I'm not sure what happened over there.

Since you log into the Keep using your Origin ID, it can pick up any saves your sync'd to your Origin account. This allows you to pick one of your Warden's or Hawkes and then recreate the Worldstate manually.

The imported headshots are really just there to help you distinguish between your worldstates.

I was wondering about that, it just confused me since there was very little of the sync'd stuff. Well, not that it really matters or makes a difference.

I believe there's a disclaimer at the top of the page in the Keep, in a yellow bar that is titled "About World States," that if clicked on, specifically says nothing is imported from Origins or II.

At least the DA:O journal is mostly detailed enough to figure out the decisions the character made.

The DA2 journal is just another mess in that game. No detail at all.

Which is funny considering the situation with saves.
