I registered my ME2 game on the site. Should it be showing under My Games now? Right now all I see is DAO PC.
Also, does ME2 upload characters etc?
Thanks.

That sidebar menu should really be labelled "My Game Profiles" - since ME2 doesn't upload much at all, it's not really expected to show up there.

That'd be rather disappointing if it wouldn't update achievements and the like must like DA does. That's been the major selling point of the social network.

I agree. I was hoping it would show achievements and character profiles so I could share it with friends of mine but it doesn't look like that's currently an option. Does anyone know if it's in the works?

So are we not getting ME2 profile data similar to the DA ones? Whats the point of building a social network of this type if only select games are going to work?

I really hope they start uploading stuff from ME2 on here. I haven't played much of DAO, but it's really easy to come on here and show my buddies how I'm doing in the game.

I was also hoping ME2 would upload characters to the social network. It's indeed one of the best selling points of bioware's social network, and I'm a bit tired of all the medieval profile pictures.
From looking in-game there isn't any profile related options such as DA:O "Upload Character Profiles"[Checked/Unchecked], so I'm guessing a game patch would be required to add this capability, which seems unlikely, tbh.
Still, I'm hoping they'll add it sometime in the future and that ME3 will have it from the start.

I have registered ME2 but it does not show under 'My Games'. when I tried registering it again it gives me the option to remove it (which I did) and then I tired registering it again, but still no luck.
all my DLC, bonus content etc seems to be working fine.
Any word from the devs on this prob?

aw crap . i was hoping for the same thing since you do unlock achievements in the game :S It's sad how they didn't keep consistency over this matter.

I agree, so far I see little point for the achievements on PC; They don't unlock bonuses like ME1 (Best use of ahievements ever!), and they don't upload onto the social site to share.
And I really want to use Shepard Avatars in the forums too, like we can do with DA:O, it was a great idea, but the wrong game for me.
It's weird how they implement some great ideas with one game but not the others, its like the two teams don't interact (about the only universal is to not give bonuses for achievements, sigh). A really shame.

ME 2 should have a similar feature like DA with updating characters and achievements. There are similar options in the ME2 options menu that we checked to agree to upload info.

I agree would be good to see people char in ME2 and perhaps link it to there builds, something I wanted for DA, so you can see how others built there Chars up.
oh well may be they will put it in at a later date, heres to hoping

You agree to upload play/debug data, nothing else. This is only to help BioWare make games.tentenmiu wrote...

The wordings looks exactly the same as DA, so I would assume they'll have the same functionalities

DA has the same option (with about the same wording). It also has options to upload characters/achievements. They are separate.tentenmiu wrote...

Some clarification as to why it doesn't show up if it supposed to, or to the menu text so that people wouldn't be confused would be nice.

Do we have an answer for this yet? This social network seems like it was a good idea in theory but in practice...when exactly is it all going to work properly? I'm missing the old reliable forums. I do understand that the site is in beta but it's really hard to use this as a tool with two new games out and no way to even search the forums... I think whomever thought it was a good idea to have this be in beta during the release of two high profile games was nuts.

Whether or not ME2 supports the sort of information feedback that DA had, it is the source for some confusion. There's already enough confusion with the DLC systems (ie lack of ease and consistency between DA & ME2), so this is just another point of confusion for everyone. I'm not particularly impressed but I imagine it's something they will try to address in due course.
